2016 NFL Playoff Predictions: NFC Picks – Cardinals, Seahawks, Panthers

2016 NFC Playoff Predictions: Seahawks, Panthers, Cardinals The NFC is a little tricky because the bottom seed in the playoff picture is the defending NFC champion that probably should have won the Super Bowl last year. The Seattle Seahawks are surging, the Carolina Panthers nearly went unbeaten, the Arizona Cardinals are having a phenomenal season, and even Aaron Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers are a tough team to count out. Those Packers just got thumped by the three-seed Minnesota Vikings. The only team I feel comfortable counting out is the Washington Redskins, but in a league where the sixth-seeded Seattle Seahawks can blow away the number two Arizona Cardinals to end the season, nothing is certain.

NFC Wild Card Round

Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings

This isn’t a knock on the Minnesota Vikings, but I’m taking the Seahawks to win on the road. I don’t trust Seattle on the road and think they will run out of gas, but I think  ...

NFL Picks: Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

NFL Picks: Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos We’ve got a couple teasers this week and only one pick that is ATS. After posting the first half of a teaser yesterday, I figured I would put an afternoon game up featuring the Denver Broncos at -6. This looks like a solid opportunity for a ML teaser against a weak Oakland Raiders team.

The Oakland Raiders offense is young and sloppy. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos defense is the best in football. At home, with this pass rush that might just be the best in the league, I think you’ll see the Denver  ...

NFL Picks: Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers

NFL Picks: Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers Two storied franchises do battle here, but the Dallas Cowboys are without Tony Romo and the Green Bay Packers are really struggling. Aaron Rodgers does not seem to be the reliable leader everyone expects from him each week. Still, it’s the Dallas Cowboys without Tony Romo. -6.5 seems like a gift, and teased to a ML wager it basically is.

The Dallas Cowboys without Tony Romo are like the Cavs without Lebron… N’Sync without Justin Timberlake… Selma Hayek without boobs. The offensive line is solid but the running game is not. Dez  ...

NFL Picks: Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals, TNF

NFL Picks: Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals, Thursday Night Football When I went to bed, the Arizona Cardinals were -8.5 against the Minnesota Vikings. I woke up and the line had jumped past 10 points. I really like the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals have made me a lot of money this year. I imagine this is what a pimp feels like about a girl who has performed well after taking her under his wing and teaching her the tools of the trade. Like any good pimp, you have to know what’s really going on if you’re going to bet the  ...

NFL Picks: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions

NFL Picks: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions – Thursday Night Football Something is wrong with the Green Bay Packers. Ever since Aaron Rodgers started sleeping with that model, the Green Bay Packers offense has really stumbled. Sure, by that logic the Green Bay Packers would be better off with Tim Tebow at quarterback than Aaron Rodgers – but maybe there really is something to it. Rodgers wouldn’t be the first quarterback to take his off the field romance rumor issues on the field. Remember when Tony Romo took Jessica Simpson on vacation during that bye week?

Maybe the team is  ...

NFL Picks: Bills Patriots, Monday Night Football

NFL Picks: Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots, MNF We’ve hit both picks we posted for this week’s primetime games, which is a pretty impressive feat given the manipulation that Las Vegas can usually pull off on those types of games. Now, in a divisional rivalry game between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots, we go for a perfect week on Monday Night Football.

This game seems too obvious. Public money is pouring in, the New England Patriots are undefeated and home, the Buffalo Bills have been mediocre and don’t seem to have the quarterback play necessary to beat  ...

NFL Picks: Cincinnati Bengals at Arizona Cardinals

NFL Picks: Cincinnati Bengals at Arizona Cardinals I like the Arizona Cardinals a lot this year. We rode them in the beginning of the season and won a lot of money. This aggressive defense makes a lot of plays while the offense is balanced enough to win games. They have a great running back tandem with the emergence of Chris Johnson and a healthy Andre Ellington. Larry Fitzgerald leads a big group of excellent receivers, and Carson Palmer is carrying this offense to a new level of efficiency.

The Cincinnati Bengals are a great team in their own right. The Bengals  ...

NFL Picks: Tony Romo Back, Dallas Cowboys vs Miami Dolphins

NFL Picks: Dallas Cowboys at Miami Dolphins Two storied franchises in off years here. The Dallas Cowboys saw what was likely to be an impressive season derailed by injuries to Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. Now, healthy, backs to the wall, I think you’ll see the best they have to offer. The Miami Dolphins had a tough season as well, but a coaching change temporarily inspired this mediocre bunch.

I like the Dallas Cowboys to win on the road and keep their season alive. The Cowboys have a strong passing attack and even if there is some rust I think  ...

NFL Picks: Giants Eagles Monday Night Football Predictions

NFL Picks – Monday Night Football: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

This is an NFL Picks Contest game, as pinned to the top of our Facebook page. Don’t forget to comment on the post to participate. The Winner of our contest gets $100 and it’s free to play.

The Philadelphia Eagles are remarkably inconsistent. They blew out the New Orleans Saints, who just beat the previously undefeated Atlanta Falcons handily, but have also lost to some pretty mediocre competition. The offense is inconsistent, the defense is average, the coaching is erratic, and they’re a hard team to trust –  ...

NFL Picks: Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions, Sunday Night Football

NFL Picks: Broncos Lions, Sunday Night Football I recognize that the Denver Broncos have not really been very impressive this year to start. Peyton Manning does not look sharp and he is struggling with the new offense. The defense has absolutely won their first two games. In fact, we lost our wager on the Kansas City Chiefs last week in horrifying fashion because of that incredible Broncos defense.

The Denver Broncos are struggling to run the ball. Although there is same backfield as last year, the platoon members have really struggled to get yards. The whole offense looks sloppy and  ...
