NFL Picks: Dallas Cowboys at Miami Dolphins
Two storied franchises in off years here. The Dallas Cowboys saw what was likely to be an impressive season derailed by injuries to Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. Now, healthy, backs to the wall, I think you’ll see the best they have to offer. The Miami Dolphins had a tough season as well, but a coaching change temporarily inspired this mediocre bunch.
I like the Dallas Cowboys to win on the road and keep their season alive. The Cowboys have a strong passing attack and even if there is some rust I think Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys will move the ball. I do not respect the Miami Dolphins defense.
The Dolphins have a very strong rushing attack and have gotten some decent play offensively, but I don’t think they have enough here to take out what would otherwise have been one of the best teams in football this year.
There is a ton of value here in a PK line. It has since moved slightly to the Cowboys side of things, but even so I think there is some value here.
The computer agrees with Vegas that this is a simple coin flip. I think that is because the algorithm does not properly account for the return of Dez Bryant and Tony Romo. With the offense back in place, this is a different Dallas Cowboys team.
As such, I like Dallas to win, straight up. If you have this at -1, take the points as they will likely be inconsequential. Either way, I have the Cowboys at -110 ML.
