I think the LA Kings are a good team. They’re inconsistent at times offensively, but they’re deep and they have one of the best defensive groups from top to bottom in the NHL. Part of that is likely because Quick is so solid in net.

The Capitals are volatile and inconsistent and difficult to trust. They’re great when they want to be, or when they’re streaking, but they’re unpredictable. The Pelicans aren’t a very good team on the road and the Hawks have all the momentum in the world, winning five in a row and surging deeper into the playoff picture. Still, the computer and I see some value in the points here.

If you followed us this year in the VIP Club, you know that my biggest win of my professional gambling career came when Oklahoma upset Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
