Thursday Night Football NFL Picks: Washington Redskins at New York Giants (-3) This is a tricky matchup between two evenly matched divisional rival on a short week. The Washington Redskins are coming off an exciting win against a far superior St. Louis Rams team. The New York Giants blew another late lead with bad time management and poor quarterback decision-making. Granted, this loss was not as bad as deliberately trying to not score a game-winning touchdown, but it was nearly just as bad a disaster and the Giants are reeling.

NFL Picks: Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants I am very high on the Atlanta Falcons this year. I think they will win the division and cruise to a playoff spot. I think the New York Giants will struggle this season. I do not like their defense and the pass rush looks like everyone is missing a finger. For me, there is a big gap between these two teams.

Week One NFL Picks: New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals This is obviously a trap game. The New Orleans Saints got worse this off-season losing most of their key offensive weapons (and a few on defense), while the Arizona Cardinals were one of the best teams in the league last year and they’re finally healthy. Public money is pouring in on the Cardinals, yet the line has moved in favor of the Cardinals down to -2. Las Vegas must know something we don’t, because even when the Saints were good they struggled on the road. Still, I will bite.

NFL Picks Week One: Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams This is a dangerous Week One matchup here between the Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams, but I feel like the defending NFC champions have an edge. The Seahawks are the better team all around and the Rams have issues at running back. The Rams also do not have the type of receivers necessary to beat this Seahawks secondary. Banged up, I think they will fall short.

Week One Football Picks: Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots (2015 NFL Season Opener) The NFL is back. It’s been a long offseason spent mulling over a goal line, shotgun pass that got picked off and sealed another Tom Brady championship. To say the least, I’ve felt deflated for some time. I guess I’m going to have to accept that the New England Patriots enter the 2015 NFL season opener as the defending Super Bowl champions.

AFC Playoffs Predictions: Colts, Broncos, Pats, Bengals

I’ve got most of the AFC going 9-7. As such, I’ve thrown in my two favorites to somehow snag the tiebreakers and squeak into the playoffs as wildcards this year. Either way, I think the Indianapolis Colts are going to cruise to a divisional title, and possibly the top seed in the AFC. I think the Denver Broncos have some questions, the New England Patriots have a big suspension to deal with, and the Cincinnati Bengals are impossible to trust to even escape their division. Still, in a jumbled AFC, here are my 2015 playoff predictions in full.

1. Indianapolis Colts (13-3): The Colts got better, have arguably the best quarterback in the AFC with Brady suspended and Manning aging, and I trust the coaching staff to manage the talent edge appropriately. I think they’re in line for an easy division title, which should help them accumulate enough wins to steal the top  ...

NFL Preseason Predictions: Complete NFC Playoffs Predictions

For me, the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks will be battling it out for the top seed in the NFC playoffs. I think the Green Bay Packers have a shot to take it all because their division is so weak and the Seahawks will have to battle such talented teams in the west. I think the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are playoff teams, but they start the next tier of competition in the conference. I like the Atlanta Falcons to control a horrible NFC South, and my wild card teams are the Eagles and Cardinals.

1. Seattle Seahawks (14-2): As I’ve said in earlier editions of our preseason predictions, the best team in football got better. If not for a horrible play call, the Seahawks would be a two-time defending champ coming into this year with expectations for a third championship. I think they take the top seed this year.

NFC South Preseason Division Predictions 2015: Atlanta Falcons

NFC South Preseason Predictions: Atlanta Falcons Win Mediocre Division By Default I don’t know what to say about this division because everyone is just so terrible. This isn’t even fun to write. I feel like I can barely name the teams in this division and I live in New Orleans. I think the Atlanta Falcons, by default, are going to win the division because the New Orleans Saints imploded, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t ready to be competitive, and the Carolina Panthers are too inconsistent. There, that wasn’t so hard.

1. Atlanta Falcons (10-6): The offense is really exciting. There is a good young rotation of running backs, the wide receivers are exciting, Matt Ryan is reliable, and the connection between Ryan and Jones is among the best in the league. That said, there will be growing pains here with the new coaching staff and the defense is pretty abysmal every year. I think they’ll win the division and be competitive,  ...
