NFL Picks Week One: Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams
This is a dangerous Week One matchup here between the Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams, but I feel like the defending NFC champions have an edge. The Seahawks are the better team all around and the Rams have issues at running back. The Rams also do not have the type of receivers necessary to beat this Seahawks secondary. Banged up, I think they will fall short.
We were fortunate enough to get in a little early and bought in at -2.5 and -3. At -4, I think the only value left is on the Moneyline. We know the Rams will give the Seahawks a fight, but I do not think they have enough to win the game. The Seahawks were the best team in football last year and only got better this off-season.
The Seahawks have a 56% chance at winning according to the computer. That is good enough for me when we are placing our trust in the best team in the NFC. This is a statement game and a very important divisional rivalry, I think the Seattle Seahawks will come out on top.
