NFL Preseason Predictions, 2015 AFC East Picks: Patriots, Bills

AFC East 2015 Preseason Predictions: New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills Few things are as certain season to season as the AFC East. This year, even with all the shaking up of the rosters, even with Tom Brady out for a well-deserved, four-game suspension, and even with the Buffalo Bills making all kind of moves, I still can’t bring myself to bet against the Pats.

1. New England Patriots (10-6): So, even if they come out “flat” you can sprinkle in a few losses with Tom Brady on the bench and maybe a little bit of adjustment once he comes back in, and I still think the New England Patriots are the best team in the AFC East this year. The Jets still don’t have a quarterback, the Bills are learning to win, and the Patriots will win the division – even if they don’t cruise to the title like in years past.

2. Buffalo Bills (9 – 7): I like the  ...

NFL Playoffs Picks, NFC Championship: Seahawks Packers

NFL Playoffs Picks, NFC Championship: Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks (-7.5) We had a perfect bracket in the NFC this year after an injured Aaron Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers through some controversy last round. Hell, the Dallas Cowboys were only there because of a similar officiating issue, so we feel like it all balanced out (in our favor). So, with nothing broken, why change a thing? We’ll stick to our original prediction here – especially given the health of Aaron Rodgers – and take the Seattle Seahawks at home.

Quite frankly, the Packers looked scared the first time  ...

NFL Playoffs Predictions: Are We Headed for a Broncos Seahawks Super Bowl?

NFL Playoffs Predictions, Updated Bracket: Broncos Seahawks Super Bowl Rematch? We were perfect in the first round, going 2-0 against the spread and 4-0 on the money line. As such, our bracket really doesn’t need any updating. That said, it’s the NFL Playoffs and I’m too excited not to make another post. So, next round, same predictions, but with a little more analysis on the games that remain. We’re all chalk here, but I don’t really see any budding upsets like we had in the first round.

NFL Playoffs Predictions: Divisional Round

AFC

1. New England Patriots OVER 6. Baltimore Ravens

Thank you, Baltimore, for coming through as underdogs in the first round. That said, it looked like easy money. Baltimore is a winning franchise that was playing an arch rival they were extremely familiar with while the Steelers were without their top running back and arguably best and most important player. Now an extra-rested New England Patriots team hosts a shoddy  ...

AFC Playoffs Predictions, 2015: Denver Broncos vs New England Patriots, Manning Brady

2015 NFL Playoffs Predictions AFC: Patriots Broncos, Manning Brady

I may be rooting for a Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady rematch. It’s pretty much my favorite thing about the AFC. The New England Patriots are a symbol of consistency and losing to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl, while the Denver Broncos have reloaded in the past couple years. The first round is full of exciting match ups, including one of the best rivalries in football between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.

6. Baltimore Ravens OVER 3. Pittsburgh Steelers

It’s hard to cast off a championship pedigree like that of the Ravens, but this is a completely different team. The defense is younger and not nearly as dominant and Joe Flacco doesn’t have any weapons on the outside. The Steelers have been one of the best teams at home this year. Big Ben has been great at home… but with Le’Veon Bell I don’t see how Pittsburgh  ...

2015 NFL Playoffs Predictions: Seattle Seahawks our NFC Championship Pick

NFL Playoffs Predictions: Seattle Seahawks Will Coast to NFC Championship

The Seattle Seahawks have a fairly easy road to the conference championship, and once there I don’t see any real threats to the throne. The Dallas Cowboys have had an excellent season and beat Seattle in Seattle, but they have to get through the Lions and Packers first. Green Bay played scared against the Seahawks. Maybe assuming the Seahawks run right into the final is in poor taste, but will the Cardinals really find a way to win without their quarterback? In fact, I’ve got the Carolina Panthers winning in the first round with a losing regular season record. Let’s get into our NFC picks for this edition of our 2015 NFL Playoffs Predictions.

Wild Card Round

3. Dallas Cowboys OVER 6. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions will have Ndomukong Suh back after he won his suspension appeal, but I think that will just light a fire under the best offensive  ...

NFL Picks: NFC Central Division Title Game – Packers vs Lions

NFL Picks: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers, NFC Central Title GameThis is the time of year where Aaron Rodgers’ eyes get big and he starts picking apart defenses. While Eddie Lacy isn’t exactly running the ball effectively, the Packers are an impressive bunch with some semblance of balance on offense. That said, Detroit’s defense is gritty (read cheap), rushes the passer, and can shut down even the best offenses in the league. This should be a good one.

I think Lambeau will likely be a decisive advantage here. It’s going to be cold, the Lions don’t run the ball  ...

NFL Picks: Thursday Night Football – Cowboys at Bears

NFL Picks: Thursday Night Football – Cowboys at Bears

– Z-Code Public Money Tools Explained

I have my hesitations about this game to begin with and probably won’t be placing a wager. We’ll be monitoring it closely when we get closer to game time, but I wanted to take this opportunity to explain our public money tools in the VIP Club as well as my thoughts coming into this one. I’ll start with game analysis for the Dallas Cowboys at Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football and move onto why it’s backed up by the computer.

NFL Picks: Sunday Night Football | Broncos at Chiefs

NFL Picks: Denver Broncos at Kansas City ChiefsArrowhead is always a tough place to play. The Chiefs are on a nice stretch of great football, pulling within a game of the Denver Broncos for first in the division. Ultimately, with so many teams in the AFC currently with four losses, the winner of this game can pull a little bit further from the pack by securing a better chance at the division title.

That’s why I’m going with the Denver Broncos here. They’re a dog, so there’s a ton of value in the money line for me with this +1  ...

NFL Picks: Thursday Night Football – Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders

NFL Picks: Thursday Night Football – Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders (+7.5)I don’t like this line. I think it’s dangerous and there are a number of reasons to avoid this one. I actually lean to the underdog, but because I can’t trust them, personally, I’m going to place a very small wager.

This is a short preparation week, and while the Raiders don’t exactly set the world on fire with their offensive weapons, that is still going to be a factor that favors the home team. Oakland is a crazy place to play, and as a heavy underdog  ...
