MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL – NFL FEATURED PICK: Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers
Z-Code recommends avoiding this game, and with good reason. Las Vegas typically has a big advantage when there’s only one game. Large amounts of public money pour in on a given pick, making it easier to eliminate value from a pick. Monday Night’s match up between Peyton Manning’s Broncos and the Chargers at home is no exception.
Manning has an uncanny ability to frustrate defenses and eliminate home field advantage. He may have lost a step and is a bit older, but he’s still one of the league’s best quarterbacks. It’s hard to picture a Peyton Manning Broncos team falling below .500 in such a weak division.
On the same note, the Chargers are off to a solid start. Ryan Matthews is healthy again, and lends an explosive element to an effective offense. The Broncos have struggled this season defensively. Can they bottle up the dynamic rushing attack of the Chargers? If so, can they stop Philip Rivers?
There are too many variables to consider in MOnday Night’s game. Z-Code recommends staying away all together.

It’s probably best to just avoid this one. I can see the Chargers offense pouring it on, and I can see Peyton Manning leading the Broncos to victory. There are simply too many unclear variables.
