Tough luck on Monday Night as a controversial call ended a very exciting game. Our teaser looks good and the close game we predicted came through, but we were one play away from taking everything.

Thursday Night football is a similar situation for me, but the opposite. I like a teaser here, bringing the line under 3 points, and I like the money line in a parlay.

For me, this choice is simple. The New Orleans Saints have too much to play for, and are simply too talented for the Atlanta Falcons. The line is a little sharp, and I’m not sure they cover ten in a divisional rivalry game, but the Saints are playing very well.

The fact of the matter is that the Indianapolis Colts haven’t been the same team since Reggie Wayne went down. Wayne was Andrew Luck’s top receiver, and the offense hasn’t clicked in his absence. Public money is balanced on a day with no hockey plays. Vegas appears to be content with trapping the public in other games and this is a good ol’ fashioned borefest between two bad teams on Monday Night Football.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have underachieved, but nearly defeated the Seattle Seahawks last week. If that’s any indication of what they’re capable of, the Miami Dolphins could be in trouble in Tampa tonight. I happen to be of the opinion that last week was a fluke.

Z-Code agrees. The spread at -1 seems inconsequential and the parameters are in agreement. Despite the Dolphins being on the road, Z=Code gives them a 63% chance to win and 3.5 stars of value. It’s hard to disagree with the computer on this one. For those that follow the VIP Club and it’s Baromir Parlay Selection strategy, this is a perfect fit.

The Washington Redskins had a goal-line stand last week that could come to define their season.  After a Danny Woodhead touchdown seemed to seal a crushing defeat, the play was reviewed and the Chargers had the ball on the half yard line.  The Redskins held the Chargers out of the endzone, forcing a field goal that led to overtime.  Washington would win the game after it felt like a ten point lead and possibly the season had slipped away.

NFL Picks Week Nine: Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins

I never thought the Dolphins were all that good. I bet them for under on total wins, Ive bet against them for profit all year. I don’t think the Dolphins at 2.5 will cover.

The Bengals have a good team. Great defense, good running game, excellent deep threat passing game. Balance should be the key here. Cincy has an edge as long as they can play their game in this one, which will be tough on the road but I expect them to get it done.

Great week! Every team scored and we had second highest result with goals scored in a week in contest history. Both conferences scored 349 goals. Very interesting scenario in west this time. Mustangs need only 2 point to win conference and behind them there is huge battle for playoffs spot.

I don’t trust the Seahawks on the road. I know they came through last week on a short week, but they don’t travel well. They make me nervous.

That said, they’re an elite team. Seattle has one of the best defenses in football – led by an aggressive secondary and incredible front seven depth. The offense is physical and a bruising running game wears teams down.

Also, the Rams are terrible.

I don’t feel comfortable betting such a big line on the road, and as such my only play here is a “Baromir Style” parlay on the moneyline for the Green Bay Packers.

The Vikings had a horrible performance last week as an ailing Adrian Peterson failed to get going early. Losing to a winless team is bad, but this is a divisional game on national television, and that usually keeps the score tight.
