NFL Picks Week Nine: Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins
I never thought the Dolphins were all that good. I bet them for under on total wins, Ive bet against them for profit all year. I don’t think the Dolphins at 2.5 will cover.
The Bengals have a good team. Great defense, good running game, excellent deep threat passing game. Balance should be the key here. Cincy has an edge as long as they can play their game in this one, which will be tough on the road but I expect them to get it done.
Public money is coming in pretty heavy on the spread with over 80% of the public on Cincy. Thursdays always seem to favor the home team, but this trend has been a bit lost in recent weeks because of the huge disparities between caliber of play. Either way, thats two reasons to be pretty nervous betting the Bengals.
Z-Code is on the Dolphins. They think they cover and there’s a conflicted signal on the money line. With just a 44% chance to win AND public money going heavily to the Bengals, the computer and the public signal a Dolphins win.
I’m not so sure about that. I don’t really think the Dolphins have enough to beat a playoff team like the Dolphins. As such, I’m on Cincy, but not with much confidence. They’re the better team and for me there’s simply too much value here… but it’s obviously a risky play.
