NFL Picks Week Eight: Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams, Monday Night Football
I don’t trust the Seahawks on the road. I know they came through last week on a short week, but they don’t travel well. They make me nervous.
That said, they’re an elite team. Seattle has one of the best defenses in football – led by an aggressive secondary and incredible front seven depth. The offense is physical and a bruising running game wears teams down.
Also, the Rams are terrible.
I respect the hell out of Jeff Fisher, but I don’t see how he can pull a rabbit out of his hat on this one. The odds are stacked against him, running a new quarterback out against such a stout defense. I expect a massacre, but typically I only pursue the moneyline in games like this.
Z-Code likes both plays. A teaser may be appropriate with the over, as both have slight statistical edges as they stand. The moneyline has full support in a parlay scenario. Lastly, the spread has a slight z-code support signal.
It looks like we’re on everything here, pursuing a ML parlay and a teaser most aggressively.
