WEEK 6 NFL Grand Cash Championship – RESULTS

Great week! Every team scored and we had second highest result with goals scored in a week in contest history. Both conferences scored 349 goals. Very interesting scenario in west this time. Mustangs need only 2 point to win conference and behind them there is huge battle for playoffs spot.

Expos 7 : 11 Quad Aces

Ouch! That is painfull scenario for Expos. They were leading before last game, but lost because Seahawks didn’t cover for Dexter (f.white42). This way both teams went with wins and 2 lost, but Aces took better odds and won by 4. Well played by  ...

NHL Picks: Free $100 Contest Announced!

Our highly successful MLB Facebook contest came down to the wire, requiring a tiebreaker round that continued all the way to an incredibly exciting Game Four of the World Series. Now that we’ve finished with our baseball contest, it’s time to announce another round of our free contests, the 2013 NHL edition.

As with our baseball contest, we’ll be posting a featured game just about every week. Simply comment on that game, which will usually be a challenging game to predict, with who you think will win. This is a moneyline only competition. The first contestant to correctly predict the outcome of ten specially selected games will win the $100 prize. You do not need to be a VIP member to participate (though it does seem to help – our winners through the years are very often members)!

Keep your eyes peeled for Facebook posts designated for the competition. We’ll have our first post later  ...

NFL Picks Week Eight: Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams, Monday Night Football

I don’t trust the Seahawks on the road. I know they came through last week on a short week, but they don’t travel well. They make me nervous.

That said, they’re an elite team. Seattle has one of the best defenses in football – led by an aggressive secondary and incredible front seven depth. The offense is physical and a bruising running game wears teams down.

Also, the Rams are terrible.

I respect the hell out of Jeff Fisher, but I don’t see how he can pull  ...

Please tell us your story. Where are you from and how did you

start your sports investing journey.

-Okay.  I’m originally from Poland and moved with my family to west Germany at the age of 3. (I’m not so young as i look like . 27) As i remember it was 1994 when i have been infected with football virus  when Italy and Brazil played in the world cup final and Brazil  won 3:2 after penalties. It’s the first “soccer” match i remember.

I can not explain  ...

NFL Picks and Predictions: Sunday Night Football, Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings

I don’t feel comfortable betting such a big line on the road, and as such my only play here is a “Baromir Style” parlay on the moneyline for the Green Bay Packers.

The Vikings had a horrible performance last week as an ailing Adrian Peterson failed to get going early. Losing to a winless team is bad, but this is a divisional game on national television, and that usually keeps the score tight.

On the road in Minnesota, a hostile environment for anyone let alone the hated  ...

Z-Code and I have wildly different lines here. My book has +180, Z-Code has +150 or so. I think that makes some difference.

The Vancouver Canucks are too good a team to be this big of an underdog. I say this aware that they’re on the road and in a back to back. Normally, I would never touch a game like this. At this line, however, I think it’s worth a small wager on the Canucks.

The Blues are a consistent team, but they don’t strike me as dominant.  ...

I’m going to playfully 3/4 of a unit disagree with the computer here, but I’m buying 1/2 a point. Tampa Bay Bucs +7 is my play here.

I’m making this play on the law of averages – nothing more. Are you ready for some mind-blowingly in depth football analysis?

87% on the money line, 73% on the spread. Vegas is baiting the public and they’ve bitten. THursdays always favor the home team and we’re getting a full touchdown.  And aren’t the Bucs due for a win? ...

Okay, maybe it’s crazy to follow me when my heart is involved. I don’t know how the Devils won the last game we featured, but I’ll take a 4-0 romp out of those New York jerks any day. Sorry, just had to relish that moment one more time before getting into this pick:

Z-Code and I love the BLackhawks. They’re consistent, they’re fundamentally sound, they’re well coached, they’re deep, and they win.

NFL Picks Week Seven: Monday Night Football, Minnesota Vikings at New York Giants

The New York Giants are winless. Nobody saw it coming, but now that it’s here we can see why. They have no running game. They have a weak defense. The schedule hasn’t been particularly kind, and turnovers have killed the Giants.

Can the Minnesota Vikings get enough pressure on Eli Manning to keep him struggling? The Giants will be one-dimensional as usual, but how bad exactly are the Vikings? Is Jared Allen healthy?

So many questions. Two bad teams. After the computer got the better of me in  ...
