MLS Match Predictions June 29th to July 2nd Major League Soccer has passed the halfway mark as the league’s teams prepare for another weekend of high-octane soccer action. The league will be taking a break on July 8th through July 20th, allowing players to compete in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. With time off upcoming, teams are looking to put themselves in an excellent position for the final months of the regular season.

Looking at the general team trends, the Brewers are at 9 in the power rankings and +24 according to the Power Rank Indicator. On the other hand, the Braves rank 15 and +!1 in the Power Rank Indicator. Both teams are increasing in both rankings, indicating good play by both teams. The Strength Oscillator also indicates as such, with the Brewers at +6.88 and the Braves nearly identical at +6.4.  Neither team is in the top 10 in Team Volatility, which measures the consistency at which a team wins when the favorite or loses  ...

The summer of 2018 will see the FIFA World Cup kick-off in Russia, however, this summer isn’t devoid of top international soccer. First, I got an idea of how both teams are trending using the Volatility Oscillator, the MLB Team Strength Oscillator and the Power Rankings Indicator. In this match up, Houston is the second most stable team, while the Red Sox rank 10th. This means that both teams are consistently winning as a favorite and losing as an underdog.
