NFL Picks Contest ($100 Prize): Philadelphia Eagles at Carolina Panthers
Free NFL Picks Contest ($100 Prize): Eagles Panthers, Sunday Night Football
Well, screw it. Since only Thomas Landwehr got our first round question right, we’ll stick with NFL for our second round. I hate the Carolina Panthers. I hate that they’re undefeated and I hate Cam Newton. That said, I hate the Philadelphia Eagles, too. I hate their fans and I hate their coach. I don’t know who to root for here, and I don’t know if there’s any value in a -3 spread. That’s why this is a perfect question for round 2 of our free NFL Picks Contest. ...

NFL Picks: Giants Eagles Monday Night Football Predictions
NFL Picks – Monday Night Football: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
This is an NFL Picks Contest game, as pinned to the top of our Facebook page. Don’t forget to comment on the post to participate. The Winner of our contest gets $100 and it’s free to play.
The Philadelphia Eagles are remarkably inconsistent. They blew out the New Orleans Saints, who just beat the previously undefeated Atlanta Falcons handily, but have also lost to some pretty mediocre competition. The offense is inconsistent, the defense is average, the coaching is erratic, and they’re a hard team to trust – ...

NFL Picks, Sunday Night Football: Patriots Colts Deflategate
NFL Picks, Sunday Night Football: New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts Rematch of Deflategate, so the Colts will have a lot to play for here. The Indianapolis Colts are finding ways to win lately, but the New England Patriots are unlikely to let you simply stumble into “finding a way” to beat them – you know, unless it’s the Super Bowl and they’re playing the New York Giants. Speaking of which – nobody has commented on and participated in our NFL Picks contest for tomorrow night. It’s free to play and it’s $100 dollar prize.
Back to this game – the ...

NFL Picks: Sunday Night Football – San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants
NFL Picks: Sunday Night football – San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants
The time has come for the San Francisco 49ers to accept that Colin Kaepernick is just not that good. You know who might be pretty good? Carlos Hyde. There’s no reason to be down by 4 for most of a game and not pump the ball to the bruising running back. Kaepernick is personally responsible for the slow start of the San Francisco 49ers, and so is the play calling that isn’t making the running game the focus of the offense.
The New York Giants have a ...

NFL Picks: Giants Redskins Thursday Night Football Prediction
Thursday Night Football NFL Picks: Washington Redskins at New York Giants (-3) This is a tricky matchup between two evenly matched divisional rival on a short week. The Washington Redskins are coming off an exciting win against a far superior St. Louis Rams team. The New York Giants blew another late lead with bad time management and poor quarterback decision-making. Granted, this loss was not as bad as deliberately trying to not score a game-winning touchdown, but it was nearly just as bad a disaster and the Giants are reeling.
Seriously, I cannot understand how Eli Manning can tell his ...

Week One NFL Picks: New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals
Week One NFL Picks: New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals This is obviously a trap game. The New Orleans Saints got worse this off-season losing most of their key offensive weapons (and a few on defense), while the Arizona Cardinals were one of the best teams in the league last year and they’re finally healthy. Public money is pouring in on the Cardinals, yet the line has moved in favor of the Cardinals down to -2. Las Vegas must know something we don’t, because even when the Saints were good they struggled on the road. Still, I will bite.
Recognizing that ...

Week One NFL Picks: Steelers Patriots Season Opener
Week One Football Picks: Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots (2015 NFL Season Opener) The NFL is back. It’s been a long offseason spent mulling over a goal line, shotgun pass that got picked off and sealed another Tom Brady championship. To say the least, I’ve felt deflated for some time. I guess I’m going to have to accept that the New England Patriots enter the 2015 NFL season opener as the defending Super Bowl champions.
And that’s okay.
I think Tom Brady will have more to prove this year than ever before. His legacy is tainted, and he spent ...
NFC South Preseason Division Predictions 2015: Atlanta Falcons
NFC South Preseason Predictions: Atlanta Falcons Win Mediocre Division By Default I don’t know what to say about this division because everyone is just so terrible. This isn’t even fun to write. I feel like I can barely name the teams in this division and I live in New Orleans. I think the Atlanta Falcons, by default, are going to win the division because the New Orleans Saints imploded, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t ready to be competitive, and the Carolina Panthers are too inconsistent. There, that wasn’t so hard.
1. Atlanta Falcons (10-6): The offense is really exciting. There is a good young rotation of running backs, the wide receivers are exciting, Matt Ryan is reliable, and the connection between Ryan and Jones is among the best in the league. That said, there will be growing pains here with the new coaching staff and the defense is pretty abysmal every year. I think they’ll win the division and be competitive, ...
NFL Preseason Predictions: 2015 AFC West Picks, Denver Broncos
2015 AFC West Predictions: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs
It’s not exactly going out on a limb to predict the exact same results as last year, but that’s what I’ll be doing in this division. The Denver Broncos continue to be the class of a highly mediocre division, while the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers battle to remain relevant. The Oakland Raiders are still the Oakland Raiders.
1. Denver Broncos (12-4): They’ve taken a step back and Peyton Manning has gotten a year older, but I still think they have plenty of weapons and will continue to win at the same clip as last year. I’d like to see Manning get another Super Bowl, but his time in the spotlight is coming to an end.
2. Kansas City Chiefs (9-7): The Chiefs are an interesting team. They can run the ball, they’ve got a good defense, but they don’t really have the passing attack necessary to win in ...
