NHL says team facilities could re-open in May, 24-team playoff format reportedly favored
May 15 – players receive permission to train in small groups on the rinks.
June 1 – start of a three-week training camp.
June 21 – teams go to one of the four cities where matches will be held. Perhaps holding training meetings.
July 1 – the resumption of the regular season, where each team will eventually hold 76 matches. Meetings will be held without spectators.
July 21 – the start of the playoffs, which will be held in the traditional format. By the end of the conference, the arenas will have to be half filled with fans. The Stanley Cup will receive a new owner by the end of September.
Training camps for the 2020/2021 season will be open in mid-November. The start of the regular season is in mid-December. ”
