NFL Featured Game – Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins – Winner takes the NFC East
I don’t think there was ever any doubt that this would be our featured game this week. Two teams playing excellent football face off with the division on the line. The Dallas Cowboys backed into this exciting game when the New YOrk Giants lost to a struggling Ravens team. The Washington Redskins are on a lengthy winning streak. The winner is in.
The Redskins dominated the first half of the Thanksgiving Day game in Dallas. THe Cowboys have their starting running back in the lineup again and they’re, quite simply, a different team when they can run the ball. All indications are that this is going to be the game of the week.
I like the way the Dallas Cowboys match up against the Washington Redskins. If healthy, they can run the ball effectively and open up a Skins defense depleted by injuries. Dez Bryant is on a remarkable touchdown streak and is complemented by Jason Witten and Miles Austin. If Tony Romo shows up, this Dallas offense is unstoppable.
The Redskins are on fire, though, and it’s hard to bet against them. I like Dallas getting the points at 3.5, with a moneyline of +160, but I’m alone in that prediction.
