NFL Featured Game – Sunday Night Football: San Francisco 49ers at New England Patriots Last week was hyped as the game of the season. Then the Patriots absolutely destroyed the Texans and talk of the game of the year subsided… it wasn’t even the game of the week.
This week appears to be a similar matchup. The New England Patriots simply don’t lose at Foxborough in December. I’ll ride the Tom Brady wave to the end of season shore.
The Pats have the type of balanced offense that can pick apart the stout 49ers defense. They’re a top rushing and passing offense, and their balance should give the Niners problems. The Pats are hot, and it’s worth following them at least one more time – especially at home in December.
It’s hard to imagine the Niners, and all their offensive woes and controversy, keeping pace with the Pats. Defensively, New England has figured things out. Rookie players have stepped up and it’s hard to point out a weakness for the San Francisco 49ers to exploit.
