NBA Playoffs Picks: Oklahoma City Thunder at LA Clippers
What an incredible, exciting, wonderful series! For me, the value has been on the points all series. I think these are two evenly matched teams with explosive offenses and big star power. The Thunder have a bit more playoff experience, the Clippers have a bit more offense, and the coaching on both sides is phenomenal.
As such, home field doesn’t do much for me. Points and teasers have paid out nicely in two of three so far. Can the home team bounce back?
The computer is conflicted here and two parameters are in direct contrast. As such, its probably best to stay away. The money line favors the home team, the Clippers, with a strong signal. That said, the value parameter suggests the Thunder are worthy a play at these odds and also carry an almost 90% chance against the spread.
I’m rooting for the Clippers in this series – after all they’ve gone through, I think they deserve to win. I like Blake Griffin. I like Chris Paul. I like Doc Rivers. I want to see them win, but I honestly think every game in this series is a pick ’em. As such, I’m on the Thunder with the points, and a teaser play. The computer backs this play, too.
