NFL Super Bowl Predictions: Why the Seattle Seahawks Will Beat the New England Patriots

Last year broke a long run of Super Bow victories that went back to the Colts-Bears game my senior year of high school. This year I’ll be jumping on the very bandwagon that stole my glory last season. Perhaps my love of Peyton Manning blinded me last season, but surely betting into all the hatred I have for the Seattle Seahawks will help eliminate any such bias this season.

Super Bowl XLIX Prediction – NFL Picks: Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots Im on the Seattle Seahawks here. I find it ironic that the team that broke my Super Bowl win streak with Z-Code now garners my support, but I think they’rethe better team. It kind of pains me to say it, but if there’s a team I dislike more than Seattle it’s probably the New England Patriots and their ball-deflating, videotaping, nonsense dynasty. It’s hard to imagine anyone taking down the New England Patriots at home. The Pats have been great at home, and Tom Brady’s numbers on his own field have been spectacular this season. The Indianapolis Colts defense is sloppy, and it’s hard to see them shutting down the Pats. Then again, it was hard to imagine them shutting down the Denver Broncos, and they found a way to do that.

NFL Playoffs Picks, NFC Championship: Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks (-7.5) We had a perfect bracket in the NFC this year after an injured Aaron Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers through some controversy last round. Hell, the Dallas Cowboys were only there because of a similar officiating issue, so we feel like it all balanced out (in our favor). So, with nothing broken, why change a thing? We’ll stick to our original prediction here – especially given the health of Aaron Rodgers – and take the Seattle Seahawks at home.
