Stadium Series NHL Picks: New York Rangers Vs New York Islanders

The Stadium Series, which for me is little more than an NHL gimmick that takes the Winter Classic three steps too far, concludes with the Rangers and Islanders tonight in the second of the Rangers’ outdoor games this year.  I’m actually excited for this game though, and love the line.

The New York Rangers are the better team this year in my opinion.  The Islanders have been streaky, and are certainly capable of rising to the occasion on the big stage, but I don’t think they matchup well  ...

Winter Olympics in Russia is in front of us! Sochi will host over 2,500 athletes from more than 80 nations in period from February 7th to February 23rd!

Hockey tournament will be very interesting! Ice hockey has been played at every edition of the Winter Games, with the women’s event making its debut in Nagano in 1998. In Vancouver in 2010,Canada won tournament as Sidney Crosby scored the gold medal-winning goal 7 min. and 40 seconds into overtime to secure a 3-2 win vs USA. Besides Canada,main candidates for gold medal are Russia,USA,Sweden…

I’ve hit the big game every year since the Giants upset the unbeaten Patriots. We’re on something of a streak, and I’ve published this pick for the last five years. Last year, with a great deal of trepidation, we hammered the Ravens and it paid off. This year, with a similar lack of confidence, I’m on the Broncos, but I certainly won’t be laying 12 units of fun like I did last year. Still, if you followed our 8-2 playoff picks, you’re playing with house  ...

These guys are over confident in their abilities in over smarting Vegas and thinking that just by using “gut feel” and couple of supporting trend taken from the preview we can beat the vegas easily
