Rays at Red Sox
The current last place rays are currently on a 3-19 run and haven’t won two games straight in almost a month. Meanwhile the Red Sox are burning hot as of this month and can’t seem to lose. They’ve been hitting well, putting up big numbers against the rangers in their two wins last series. Taking on the stagnant rays should be a cakewalk by comparison. In the last few weeks it’s become increasingly difficult for teams far better than the Rays to come grab even a single win in Fenway. The Red Sox, therefore, have a great chance at sweeping this series. With this in mind, Z-code recommends an ABC progression bet on Boston for the series.
Giants at Diamondbacks
The Giants are one of the best teams in baseball and are facing the Diamondbacks on the road in Arizona for a three game series. The Giants are 6-1 against the Dbacks when playing in Arizona this season. Not only are the Giants the better team all-around. They have a favorable pitching matchup this game. The Giants will be starting Samardzija (8-5) and Arizona will start Corbin (4-6). Z-Code predicts that the Giants will win this series, but is only recommending a Game 1 bet here because of line value. The line is currently at -150.
Angels at Orioles
The Orioles, number 1 in the AL East, are facing the Angels, who are almost dead last in the AL, at home for a 3 game series. This season the Orioles have shown they play better at home with nearly a 3-1 win record in Camden Yards. The Orioles have never been swept at home this year and have only lost one home series- to the Mariners in mid-may. This series could easily be a sweep for the heavy hitting Orioles and therefore Z-code is recommending an ABC progression bet. The line for tonights game is currently -119.
