NHL Playoffs Picks: Minnesota Wild at St. Louis Blues Game Two

NHL Picks: Minnesota Wild at St. Louis Blues Game Two

I apologize, guys. I forgot to post a pick today and it’s a shame because we would have won some money together. We were on the Canadiens, Capitals, and Canucks today and at the time of this writing the Canucks are up 2-0, but obviously that game is far from over. While the computer doesn’t see any real value in any of the games, we’re going to try this matchup again. I like the St. Louis Blues to bounce back in Game Two against the Minnesota Wild before this series slips away from them.

If there is a lower seed in the West that plays the way the Blues do, it’s Minnesota. They have had some excellent goaltending, and as Game One showed, they are very capable of shutting down the Blues. I still trust the depth and system of the Blues, though, and I think there is some serious value in this line again.

The computer thinks the 63% chance of victory for the home team down a game in this series is approximately what the line suggests. I think there’s money to be made here, and I’m on the Blues. I expect them to adjust and bounce back. They’re the better team.

Blues 3 – Wild 1
