NHL Picks Contest Round 12: Colorado Avalanche at New York Rangers

I like the Avs here. I recognize that they’re on a back to back and a little tired, but I think they can give the Rangers a game. After a thrilling comeback, I think the Avalanche have some momentum against an overly-rested Rangers team with mediocre goaltending. I think the West is this much better than the east, particularly the Met.
The computer sees a hint of value with a conflicting output and it’s best to avoid betting on this game. With a 52% chance to win and only one star of value at +132, I would imagine this should be five stars of value if the algorithm were not in conflict. As such, the computer leans to Colorado but suggests not betting on this game.
