When the Arizona Coyotes were getting scoring from their young players, a lot of the experts in our community were buying in. In fact, I sort of predicted their demise a little bit and bet against them sharply just before their fall from grace. The results have been very strong.
Now, this young and inconsistent team that tends to be very sloppy is taking on one of the more consistent, young teams in the league. The Florida Panthers are anchored in a balanced roster with strong goaltending, and the young scorers on this team are stepping up big. Jaromir Jagr is contributing in a bit way, and the Panthers can score.
Because the Florida Panthers have the offensive consistency to capitalize on mistakes by the Arizona Coyotes, I expect Florida to win this game on home ice. The Coyotes are tired and on a tough road trip.
