The 2019 NFL season will come to an end in NFL Week 17. The postseason is nearly set with just three teams still in the hunt for the playoffs.
NFL Week 17 will sort out the final three playoff places up for grabs. Only the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders, and Dallas Cowboys can still make the postseason. There is one spot in the AFC and one in the NFC still up for grabs.
The Tennessee Titans could fall out of the playoffs on the AFC side while the NFC East is still up for grabs.
Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans
It is a huge showdown in Houston as the Texans and the Tennessee Titans clash in the AFC South. The Texans have already clinched the division and can end the Titans’ playoff hopes with a win.
It is simple Tennessee as a win sends them into the postseason. Houston has won the last two games versus the Titans. Houston does not have the pressure on it that Tenessee does. The Titans have lost two straight games and that is why the Texans should pick up the win. The Titans are just 2-3 against teams in the AFC South. They will need Pittsburgh and Oakland to lose to get into the playoffs.

Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboy’s playoff hopes hinge on a win versus the Washington Redskins and a Philadelphia Eagles loss to the New York Giants. It doesn’t seem likely that both a win and Eagles loss will occur.
The Cowboys let their playoff hopes run through their fingers in Week 16. Dak Prescott’s shoulder injury didn’t help the team against the Eagles and it could once again prevent him from playing well versus the Redskins.
Washington has lost three straight games while the Cowboys have lost four of their last five games. The Redskins are 0-5 in the NFC East and are ice cold. The Cowboys are 4-1. The Cowboys won their previous game this season in D.C. and should once again claim victory versus Washington.
Winner: Dallas Cowboys

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens
The rivalry between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens has been called the biggest in American sports. NFL Week 17 will provide fans with another exciting game in the rivalry with some extra spice on top. The Steelers must win to have any hopes of making the playoffs. Based on Tennessee’s recent record, it is likely that Houston will beat the Titans. If Pittsburgh can win against the Ravens, they should get in.
The Steelers could have a chance as Lamar Jackson and other Baltimore starters are set to be rested. Still, they have an uphill battle following back to back losses to the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. The good news for Pittsburgh is the away team has won the last three games in his rivalry. Trace McSorley is likely to play for the Ravens.
Making the Steelers’ job even more difficult against the Ravens is quarterback Mason Rudolph is set to miss the game with a shoulder injury. With Ben Roethlisberger out of action, and possibly not playing next season, the Steelers have struggled with Devlin Hodges and Rudolph under center.
Without a qualified quarterback, the Ravens will win even with back-ups playing the entire game.
