NFL Week 11: Three Games to Bet this Weekend

NFL Week 11: Three Games to Bet this Weekend

Welcome to week 11 of the 2016 NFL season. Here are Z-Code’s favorite picks for this Sunday’s action.

Green Bay Packers at Washington Redskins

The Packers have lost 4 of their last six (including the last 3 in a row) and are lined up to face the burning hot Redskins in Washington on Sunday. The Redskins have lost only 1 of their last 6 and have reignited their offense with a powerful new rushing game in the form of Robert Kelley. Kelley ran for just under a hundred yards against the top-tier vikings defense last week and coming off a week where Demarco Murray took the Packers defense for over 150 total yards, the Redskins should be optimistic for their new runner. The Packers are not the team they have been for the last few years and, to put it frankly, they are bad this year. The Redskins are trending upwards and have a ton of momentum and I think they roll over Green Bay here.

Redskins -2.5

Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings

The Cardinals are coming in as 2.5 point underdogs against the Vikings on the road despite only losing 2 of their last 6 compared to Minnesota who has lost 4 of its last 6. The Vikings have struggled offensively, managing to score more than one TD in just one of their last four games. Z-Code currently ranks the Cardinals defense at number 2 in the league and we don’t expect the Vikings’ offensive issuses to change this week. Arizona has an offense that can keep up with any team in the league and a defense than can shut down most of them- especially ones lead by Sam Bradford. There is a ton of value here in Arizona at +121 underdogs.

Arizona ML +121

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Kansas City Chiefs

The scoring total for this game is set for 44.5 and here’s why we think the under is a good bet. The Chiefs have won their last 5 in a row and the under hit in every one of those last 5 games. The Bucs, opposingly have been putting up massive points in the last six weeks with their last 4 games going over. However, in those games, the bucs were playing the Bears, Falcons, Raiders, and 49ers- some of the worst defenses in the league. However, the last time the Bucs played a real defense, 6 weeks ago against Denver, Tampa managed to score only 7 points. I think were going to see a similar situation tomorrow in KC. The Chiefs are a top-tier defense who have been holding potent offenses to low scoring games. They are a run heavy team who is going to grind the clock out and the under tends to hit in games that they win- I think they’re going to win here.

Under 44.5
