The fourth week of the NFL season is upon us and COVID-19 has hit, postponing the Steelers versus the Titans. The rest of the games will be played as scheduled, with the Chiefs and Patriots headlining action.
New England Patriots versus Kansas City Chiefs
The Patriots bring a 2-1 record into Kansas City to take on the undefeated Chiefs. After an impressive win over the Ravens, the Chiefs are “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +31 on the Power Ranking Indicator. This compares to “average down” and +30 for the Patriots. The Chiefs are a huge favorite at 1.310 to 3.460 with an over/under of 53.5. The Totals Predictor indicates that better the “under” is a smart play in this game. Kansas City won the game between the teams last season by the score of 23-16. Look for a similar margin in this one with slightly more points scored.
Arizona Cardinals versus Carolina Panthers
The Panthers look to get back to .500 as they host the Cardinals. The Panthers won last year’s game between the teams by a 38-20 score, however without Christian McCaffrey, they are an underdog with odds of 1.55 to 2.47. Arizona has a +30 to +5 advantage on the Power Ranking Indicator and “average” versus “dead up” on the Team Strength Oscillator. The over/under on this one is 52.5, but the Totals Predictor indicates that teams are trending on both sides of the line, so best to shy away from this bet. Look for the Cardinals to win this one comfortably.
Indianapolis Colts versus Chicago Bears
The Bears are off to a 3-0 start after Nick Foles came off the bench to lead a comeback win. The Colts are coming in at 2-1 and both teams are “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator. The Bears hold a +23 to +11 advantage on the Power Ranking Indicator. Indianapolis is a road favorite with odds of 1.690 to 2.840 with an over/under of 44.5. The teams are playing in game trending on opposite sides of the line, so the wise choice is to avoid the over/under. Look for the Colts to hand the Bears their first loss in a tight game decided late.
Minnesota Vikings versus Houston Texans
Both teams are off to surprisingly poor 0-3 starts leading to “dead” status for both on the Team Strength Oscillator. Houston is that favorite at home at 1.510 to 2.590 with an over/under of 54.5 On the Power Ranking Indicator, the Texans have a +6 to 0 advantage. Betting the over/under is not a smart play for this game with teams playing in games trending on opposite sides of the line. This could actually be a very entertaining game with both teams fighting for their first win. Look for a relatively high scoring game with the Texans pulling it out by a narrow margin.
Atlanta Falcons versus Green Bay Packers
The Packers are off the a great start at 3-0 and are “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +26 on the Power Ranking Indicator. On the flip side, nothing has gone right for the Falcons in an 0-3 start. They are “average down” and +13. Green Bay is a strong favorite at 1.310 to 3.460 with an over/under of 57.5. As high as the line is, the teams have been playing in very high scoring games. Bet the “over” in a shootout with the Packers prevailing to improve to 4-0.
