The NFL season is in full swing with two weeks in the books. There is a full slate of games for week 3 with the Packers and 49ers highlighting the play.
Green Bay Packers versus San Francisco 49ers
The Packers enter the contest with 1-1 record and the 49ers begin their home schedule after a 2-0 start on the road. Go with the 49ers in a much closer game, covering the spread and bet “over”.
Los Angeles Chargers versus Kansas City Chiefs
In this AFC West battle, both teams enter play at 1-1. The Chargers have a +28 to +17 advantage on the Power Ranking Indicator. The Chiefs are “average” versus “average down” on the Team Strength Oscillator. Kansas City is a 6 1/2 – point favorite with odds of 1.31 to 3.36 and an over/under of 54.5 It’s best to avoid the over/under since the teams have been trending in games on opposite sides of the line. This game could be all Kansas City with the Scores Predictor having the Chiefs winning by a 36-16 score with 68 percent confidence. The best bet is on the Chiefs to win and cover.
Washington Football Team versus Buffalo Bills
Washington improved to 1-1 after a narrow win over the Giants. Buffalo also sits at 1-1 after a 35-0 win over the Dolphins. The Bills have a +14 to +12 edge on the Power Ranking Indicator and “average up” versus “ice cold up” on the Team Strength Oscillator. The Bills are a heavy 7 1/2 – point favorite with odds of 1.26 to 3.76 and an over/under of 45.5. The Scores Predictor has the Bills winning by the score of 30-18 with 71 percent confidence and both teams are trending in games “over” the line. Betting “over” is a great play in this one, as is taking the Bills to win and cover the spread.
Seattle Seahawks versus Minnesota Vikings
The Seahawks dropped the ball in their home opener, losing to Tennessee by the score of 33-30. At 1-1 they face the Vikings, who have lost their first two games by a combined four points. Seattle is “ice cold down” and +23 on the Power Ranking Indicator, while the Vikings are “dead” and +3, respectively. Seattle is a slim 1.5 – point favorite with odds of 1.8 to 2 and an over/under of 55.5. The teams have been trending on opposite sides of the line and the Scores Predictor gives the Seahawks a commanding 30-6 win with 52 percent confidence. I like the Seahawks in a tighter game, but go with the “under”.
Philadelphia Eagles versus Dallas Cowboys
The Eagles shot themselves in the foot in a 17-11 loss to the 49ers. Dallas is coming off a last second win against the Chargers. At 1-1, the Eagles come in with a +21 to +2 edge on the Power Ranking Indicator and “ice cold down” versus “dead up” status on the Team Strength Oscillator. Dallas is a 3.5 – point favorite with odds of 1.51 to 2.542 with an over/under of 52.5 The Scores Predictor has the Cowboys by the narrowest of margins, 29-28 with 48 percent confidence. Avoid the over/under since the teams are trending on opposite sides of the line. Dallas will likely win but don’t be surprised to see an upset here. Therefore, I am going with the Eagles to cover.
