The final week of the NFL regular season is here and there are important games yet to be played. The Packers have made a great comeback and have a chance to make the playoffs with a win over the Lions. That matchup is the featured one of the four we will take a look at.
Detroit Lions versus Green Bay Packers

The Chargers come into play as the 5th seed in the AFC. They are road underdogs against the 4-12 Broncos with odds of 1.73 to 2.10. The line in favor of Denver is -2.5, but the Score Predictor likes Los Angeles by a score of 29-20 with 68 percent confidence. Los Angeles has a +24 to +1 advantage on the Power Ranks Indicator and “burning hot” versus “dead” on the Team Strength Oscillator. Since the Chargers are locked in as the 5th seed, they have nothing to play for. The Broncos can win this game at home because of this fact. Go with Denver but pass on the over/under.
Dallas Cowboys versus Washington Commanders
Dallas comes into play with an outside shot of winning the NFC East. They are “burning hot” versus “average down” and have a +25 to +20 edge on the Power Ranks Indicator. Dallas is the favorite with odds of 1.31 to 3.36 with a line of -7.5 and an over/under set at 40.5. The teams have been trending on opposite sides of the over/under line, so best to avoid that pick. I like Dallas to win and cover, but pass on the over/under bet.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay enters as the NFC South champions and head to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. The Buccaneers are “burning hot” versus “ice cold up” and +15 to +5 on the Power Ranks Indicator. Since Tampa Bay has nothing to play for, they likely will rest their starters. Therefore, Atlanta is a home favorite with odds of 1.45 to 2.692 with a line of -4.5 and an “over/under” set at 40.5. The Score Predictor has the Falcons by a 31-22 score with 81 percent confidence. In a meaningless game for Tampa Bay, I like Atlanta to win and cover in a game “over” the line.
