NFL Picks: Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos, Monday Night Football

NFL Picks: Bengals Broncos – Monday Night Football

It’s suddenly become very difficult to trust the Denver Broncos offensively. Brock Osweiler looked like a revelation for a couple games only to stumble down the stretch and the Denver Broncos could actually be in line to miss the playoffs with a loss at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. The running tandem of C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman has struggled all year behind a porous offensive line and the dynamic receivers are disappearing. You just can’t trust this offense.

But honestly, can you trust the Cincinnati Bengals offense against this vaunted Denver defense at home on a cold Monday Night Football game before a national audience? With a backup quarterback in? No way.

To me, two great defenses are facing off against two struggling offenses with injured quarterbacks, yet 65% of the public money is coming in on the over because the line is set deceptively low. I like the Broncos at home so I can’t bet into the spread at -3.5 when the whole world is on the Broncos here (>80% of tickets). What I do like is an under play that goes with Las Vegas.

I know 40 points is low, but I think this will be a battle of futility. I’m on the under. Z-Code agrees with a 55% chance for the under to hit. That’s good enough for me on what has been a difficult week so far.
