May has been a relatively unkind month to us so far, with a few missed progressions putting a dent in our profits in baseball, but the hockey playoffs have carried us. We are perfect in NHL progressions and up almost $1,000 in VIP Club. It’s time for baseball to get some of that money back that it lost in May, though, and we’ve got three plays that fit the system tonight.

First, the Pittsburgh Pirates have been dominant against the lowly Atlanta Braves. At home with their ace on the mound, I really like the Pirates. As such, I’m laying one of my largest bets of the season as another “a bet” in a doubler in this series. I expect another big win from this hot team.

Second, I like the San Francisco Giants to win again. We hit on an ABC progression for the Giants to open the series, but I like coming back in on this series with another “AB Doubler” with the two and three pitchers up in a pitcher’s park against a bad team. This looks like a good spot to try to double down with house money in this series.

Lastly, I like the Chicago Cubs to rebound from an awful start to this series. While I’m not a huge fan of John Lackey, this one comes from trusting the best team in baseball to beat an inferior team. The Cubs lineup needs to wake up a bit, but I’m confident they will after a tough loss to open the series.

As such, we are on the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, and Chicago Cubs to win today, as laid out in our VIP Forum expert selections and in our VIP Picks.
