MLB Picks: LA Angels at Toronto Blue Jays
All is not as it seems in this series, but it still fits my system. With tempered confidence, we move forward with an ABC progression as the Los Angeles Angels visit the Toronto Blue Jays with a great pitching edge and tons of momentum.
This game makes me a little bit nervous. The Toronto Blue Jays are not this bad. They have a lineup that can explode at any time, and while they lack pitching they still can win. The team is really struggling lately, but at home they can bounce back for sure. This team can flat out hit.
I do think, however, that there is some serious value on the road team here. They opened at -110 before the line moved overnight, but I like this matchup. The Angels are hot, have a pitching edge with CJ Wilson burning up, are probably the better team overall even if they are overachieving a bit, and there’s value in this line even on the road. What’s more, Z-Code is behind us with full five-star support and a projected score of 8-0.
While I’m not as confident as the computer, I agree that there is just too much value to be had to sit this one out. While I fear a Blue Jays eruption, this game fits the system. Low confidence, but I’m on an ABC chase progression here.
