MLB Picks Contest: Cincinnati Reds vs Pittsburgh Pirates
Johnny Cueto and the Cincinnati Reds are off to a poor start, while the Pittsburgh Pirates haven’t exactly impressed anyone either. The Bucs have the better team and they have a strong pitcher on the mound of their own, but he’s no Cueto. I think that makes this a great contest pick for us here.
The MLB Season is starting to get to that point in the season where the bad teams develop some young chemistry, pitchers hit their stride, and the easy money of the first few months is but a fond and distant memory. We cracked the 20 wins above .500 barrier with our forum, but we’ve lost a couple bets since that mark. It’s a funny time for baseball, and we’ve been exercising a discretion-intensive approach to keep our profits and pick our spots. The results are great, and we’re having a lot fun. To that end, I honestly have no idea who will win this showdown between one of the best pitchers in baseball and, though not great, a very good team.
