MLB Picks: Atlanta Braves at New York Mets
I don’t know what is wrong with Matt Harvey, but the New York Mets don’t seem to need him to win. They move on to another ace here, and I think they will have more than enough pitching strength to beat the Atlanta Braves here. Even Harvey wasn’t bad, but the bats fell asleep. The question here, then, is at home against one of the worst teams in baseball, can the Mets bounce back?
For me, the answer should be a resounding yes. The New York Mets have enough depth in that lineup to score some runs here. It shouldn’t take more than five runs. The Atlanta Braves have a mediocre starter going, with a bad bullpen and a poor lineup. On the road, I don’t see them stealing this one.
So, we move forward here with a prediction for the New York Mets to win at home. This is a day game, so be aware of the early start here. Z-Code sees this one as something of a coin flip, but gives a four-star signal to a very sharp line with a blowout score predictor pick. Still, it is always important to note when the computer algorithm isn’t aligned.
Either way, the better team is home with a better pitcher and they should find a way to win here.
