This week we are up 11.445 Units through 23 plays. That means every bet we place with our Cherry Pick Parlay, we win 0.497 Units!
We generally bet 1.5 Units per Cherry Pick Parlay – System Bet, and therefore in all calculations, are expected ROI is 33.1% !
2. How did you come up with this genius approach of 2 team parlays
with alternative runlines?
The story behind it is a bit more complex, but the idea is quite simple. I used to do a lot of 2 team ML parlays. They were by bread and butter. I started with the concept last season in the NBA. It was very difficult though to create profitable opportunities with ML bets. Some days there were no good games, and sometimes the odds were too low. I could not generate a steady income this way as I had to wait for the perfect opportunity. It wasn’t until I introduced myself to 5dimes where I started expanding my vision and knowledge, and creating a style that brings opportunities to the table every day. I saw that they offered alternate runlines and pucklines for the same price as a ML bet. I knew selecting the ML on favorites was profitable in a 2 team parlay, but turning the favorite into an underdog for the same odds of a ML? Now that’s power!
3. Why do such parlays win? tell us more about staying under the radar
methodology? Why not 3 or 4 team parlays (those never win) but 2 team
parlays that always win?
The reason why these plays win is because we logically factor in all the illogical possibilities. With this style, we are not trying to predict the outcome of the game; we are trying to factor out all the illogical outcomes, and then select a line with value that is most probably not going to happen. It’s that simple. It’s under the radar because not a lot of people know about this. I know it’s a bit harsh to say, but I guess that’s kind of why only a small fraction of the world all millionaires. They really don’t think outside the box. They see something, and they try to fit into what’s available rather than create something unique from their own.
Like Cyril says, Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS). There is no reason to get all fancy with 3 or 4 team parlays. 2 teamers are easy to manage, and there is always opportunity. There are times where I do play 3 or 4 teamers, but they are for good reason when I do. Most of the time, I like to stick to two.
4. How do you find value in the alternative run lines and ML bets? What odds do
you look for?
Prior to the odds being released in the morning, I always keep tab of the games I like and the lines I like for those games the night before because it can be a distraction if you do not know what you’re looking for. You may run into lines with odds that fit this system, but they aren’t for the games that you want. I never chase action, if the games and lines I like have no value, I take the day off. However, when the lines I like have the odds that fit my criteria, I play it. I generally stick to combined odds of at or under (-200), because my long term record is generally around 72-75%. I make sure that there is profit through even the toughest of streaks. Usually two lines around -400 do the job in having combined odds under (-200.)
5. Some people were inspired by your method and started their own
cherry pick parlays. I hope you don’t mind that 🙂 What tips can you
give to them to avoid mistakes?
I don’t mind at all, everybody is learning and that’s great! Some tips I give you guys so that you don’t run into difficult situations and mistakes is to follow the steps I use in my answer for question 4. Don’t play everything and anything you see. Make sure you have analyzed your games to your knowledge. Just because the lines are heavy favorite doesn’t mean they all have value. Let every play have reason before you play it, that way when you lose- it’s easier to learn from the mistakes.
6. Why some Vegas bookies don’t offer alternative runlines and what do
you think about it? What bookies do you suggest?
Betting in Vegas is considered gambling to me, they don’t let you adjust anything. It’s like someone putting a plate in the front of your face and saying here, eat this, and no matter what you have to pay for your meal! I want to be able to make my own decisions. I don’t want to take standard lines. When vegas sets a line, they want me to bet on it. They would not have it on the menu if they did not want anyone to bet it. It’s just that simple. The more tickets they get, the more they win per ticket. That’s how vegas works. They set their lines in a way where the good players only make small profits, and the losers lose a ton because they don’t know how to invest properly. Even though I live in vegas, I will never place my bets in vegas. I use 5dimes as a US resident, and that is what I recommend for anyone living in the US.
7. How is your life and business going since the last featuring we
made few months ago? You’ve been away for some time after that. Glad you are back and active!
Everything has been going great, thank you for asking, still running a family business on the side as well. I am doing everything, and trying to make the best out of all my avenues. I really like to invest in anything that has good reward. Thank you for having me back again, this time better than ever, I can never leave you guys again!
8. What sports do you plan to apply such method in future? Will it
include NBA as well?
I really want to learn the smaller leagues in soccer, and there are great resourceful people on Z-Code for that so it should not be a problem getting that down. NBA of course is where I am most talented at. It’s a hard sport to cap with this style, but there are ways we can use the sports to our advantage. Selecting home favorites are one of the more obvious options that can apply to our method.
9. Do you plan to add any money management? For now you’ve been
trading flat parlays? Maybe a 2x after a lost parlay as a B bet?
Risk management is far greater than money management. Money management will take care of itself if risk management is in place. And with our cherry system, we are take care of risk management. There is no need to 2x as a B bet. I have lost 2 times in a row before, and it harder to recover from that then it is to win it back. This system should not involve any progressive betting, until further testing. For now, stick to making solid plays. Like I answered in the first question, each bet we place, we expect to win 0.497 Units. There is no reason to chase. We may lose 3 in a row, and that’s hard to recover from. Just be patient and ride out improbable stints like that. Because as seen and experienced these past two weeks, we can easily win 6 in a row. We do it all the time, and a 6-3 record makes us profit. Think of long term, because progressions are to recoup short term losses, we’re not in it for that. We take losses, and move on! Period! Don’t fix something that’s not broken. Ive said it once, and I’ll say it again, even though some of you are making your own plays, make sure you stick to the right concepts and do not get carried away. This is a treat, don’t push it by getting fancy. Like Cyril says, KISS.
10. Do you think it’s better to make 2 team parlays from same sport or
from different sports?
It does not make a difference. It’s all about games individually, not. This is not an important factor.
11. You usually delay parlays till last moment, which information do
you wait? Line reversals? Usually the alt run line odd become worse if
we wait too long.
I like to take my time and analyze games in my head while I am away from my computer. It helps me put together the best possible play for the day based off logic and value. Line reversals do not play a big factor for me as much, but I do like to fade those games. If I wait to post a pick, it’s usually because I know the lines won’t change much. It has happened a couple times, but those are games I voided off the list of candidates.
12. What is your vision and plans for the next 3 years in your life
and sports investing?
Every week I am growing. Not only am I making money from my picks, but I also deposit more money from the money I get from my family business every week and keep growing my bankroll. I want to have all the fancy houses, clothes, and a bunch of cars. But, I know it takes a lot of work and development to get there. I just have to stay humble so that I can be that honest example for the new comers to this sport. Being a professional means being one of the best in the business. It takes a while to get there, and I know that. So my current goal is to stay consistent, manage my money and time, and I will eventually get to where I want to be. But just because I want all the fancy things, does not mean im in this for the money. Im in it because I love doing it, and whatever I receive, I will always give back to the deserving people of this world. I want to make others happy. I want to make the poor, rich!
13. My favorite question, what makes great people great? Do you feel
you already reached perfection so early in life or continue personal
growth?
Ah, I love this question too, but I think I pretty much answered it in the last question. If I ever were to label myself as perfect, it would automatically make me the most imperfect person in this world. I can never be perfect. I can only get better each and every day. Every day consists of a mistake, no matter what category it lies under. We have to fix those and become wiser. I am always looking to grow. Every day, I do something more and more positive. One day I know all the little things I do will add up to big things. The results are showing.
14. A lot of people get easily spoiled by money especially when they
are young. How did you avoid this? You are really successful so early
in life (still 20 year old?) but keep it friendly and humble towards
others and help others a lot!
Im going to keep this one simple. I was raised by a loving mother. She showed me the most important things in life, and money is not one of them. I have lost a lot of friends once over their success, and I don’t want someone to lose me because of that reason. The more money I have, the better person I become for the community and my loved ones, because I have the power to open doors for them, NOT for myself.

15. A lot of people when they win try to sell the picks but your
approach is completely different. You are making much more by betting
the picks instead and helping others. What is your mindset about it?
Selling sports picks is like having a PS3 or XBOX in your home and asking someone to pay you money to play it when they come over. Its not ethical. I sell coaching. I feel like if someone should pay for anything, it should be for the commitment of my time and my undivided attention. At the end of the day, the work I put in for my picks is for my own, why someone else should have to pay for that. People should have the resource to learn and make winnings. That requires coaching. Buying picks is not an investment, its just a waste of money. I don’t want people to waste their money. The picks are here today, and they are gone tomorrow, but the knowledge you get out of my coaching is there to stay. It doesn’t leave no matter where you go.
