EPL Predictions September 22
Fulham vs. Watford
Fifteenth-place Fulham host fourth-place Watford. The Cottagers have won just once in five games this season. Watford suffered its first loss last weekend in a nail-biter against Manchester United. Fulham has allowed 12 goals this season, the most in the Premier League. Watford will win this fixture.
Winner: Watford
Leicester vs. Huddersfield
Huddersfield is yet to win this season. Despite Leicester losing two straight matches, the Foxes will rebound on Saturday and take all three points. Enough said!
Winner: Leicester
Liverpool vs. Southampton
Liverpool is joint-Premier League leaders with Chelsea. The Reds do have an inferior goal difference, however. Liverpool has been brilliant this term showing the team can win in multiple ways. No longer is Liverpool reliant on Mohamed Salah to score all its goals. In midweek, Liverpool defeated Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 in the Champions League. Liverpool will continue to play good soccer and win again at home.
Winner: Liverpool
Burnley vs. Bournemouth
Bournemouth is one of the surprise teams in this season’s Premier League. The Cherries have suffered just one loss, and that came at the hands of Chelsea. Burnley is bottom of the Premier League table and will suffer a fifth straight loss on Saturday.
Winner: Bournemouth
Manchester United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers
Manchester United hasn’t been very good this season. Despite winning 2-1 against Watford last weekend, the Red Devils weren’t convincing. Wolverhampton continues to play well and the club is just one point behind Manchester United in the standings. This fixture will be close, but Manchester United will be at home and it will give the team an edge.
Winner: Manchester United
Cardiff City vs. Manchester City
Cardiff is one of four Premier League teams that haven’t won a match this term. The Bluebirds aren’t very good and relegation from the Premier League looks like a strong possibility. Manchester City should have no difficulty scoring goals while holding Cardiff to a shutout.
Winner: Manchester City
Brighton vs. Tottenham
Tottenham is in a crisis. The team has lost three straight games in all competitions and its weakness in quality depth is showing. Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and midfielder Dele Alli have missed the last two matches due to injury. Brighton has secured back to back draws. While Brighton may not win at home against Tottenham, the club can certainly get a draw.

West Ham vs. Chelsea
West Ham finally got off the mark last weekend against Everton. The team’s 3-1 win ended four straight losses. There is still a lot of work to do, and Sunday West Ham will play the league’s best team. Chelsea is scoring goals for fun with 14 tallied so far. The Blue have scored two or more goals in each game this season.
Winner: Chelsea
Arsenal vs. Everton
Arsenal is beginning to gel under new manager Unai Emery. The Gunners have won three straight and play a decimated Everton on Sunday. Everton has a long list of injured starters. The team’s defense been completely battered. Everton will get back forward Richarlison, but without first-choice defenders, Everton will have difficulty beating Arsenal.
Winner: Arsenal
