The contest is still in the early stages and only one round has passed. I was going to do a hockey round, but we’ll wait for the playoff situation to be settled. Instead, we do another baseball pick. Can the talent of the Atlanta Braves overcome Cliff Lee’s impressive repertoire? In this divisional rivalry, who will win on Tuesday?

All top 10 players will be there and that just gives a general information that the tournament will be very predictable and the competitive standard will be extremely high. Those players that failed this week in Houston will certainly regroup, for example Isner who failed against Brown will certainly push himself a lot more and go at least to the 3rd round. I see Nadal winning the tournament though, simply because it’s clay and he’s just the best on clay. 21st  ...

Tricky game, and I’ve got no progression here. This is a lesson in my approach more than anything. With Sale and Paulino next in line, there is no statistical edge to this game. You can try to flat bet this once and beat the house, but our strength in baseball is monitoring match ups over the long term. I don’t like this game.
