2015 AFC North Preseason Predictions: Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals

With the Pittsburgh Steelers opening the 2015 NFL Preseason with a loss in the Hall of Fame Game to the Minnesota Vikings, and the Baltimore Ravens kicking off Week One of the NFL Preseason next week against the New Olreans Saints, this division was the obvious place to start our 2015 Preseason Predictions. The AFC North is a tight division, riddled with mediocrity. This one won‘t be easy.

1. Cincinnati Bengals (10-6): I don’t trust Andy Dalton and don’t expect the Bengals to ever deliver in a big game with him at quarterback, but the Bengals are likely the class of the 2015 AFC North. The backfield has a nice thunder and lightning punch, the defense is solid, and the mediocrity all around the Bengals in this division gives them every chance to run away with this one.

2. Baltimore Ravens (9-7): The rebuild continues to produce mediocre results in a mediocre division. This division is no longer represented by that brutal Ravens Steelers rivalry, and both teams are chasing the Bengals. Good coaching and relative depth will keep them competitive.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7): With Bell out to suspension, a third of this offense is on the bench to start the season. I expect them to put out a balanced effort, but I just don’t think they’re that strong of a team. In this division anything can happen and they too are well coached, but nothing blows me away about this Pittsburgh offense. What’s more, their linebacking corps and secondary is incredibly weak. I don’t think they’ll be able to score enough to make up for all the holes defensively.

4. Cleveland Browns (4-12): This is a terrible offense with no quarterback as Johnny Manziel appears to be yet another disappointing draft pick for Cleveland. I’m starting to feel bad for Cleveland, but at least they have LeBron James back.
