Kansas City Chiefs vs. LA Rams

The LA Rams go into week 11 at 9-1. The Rams defeated division rivals the Seattle Seahawks in week 10, 36-31, as they bounced back from defeat to the New Orleans Saints. Todd Gurley continues to strengthen his case for the NFL Most Valuable Player award. Against the Seahawks, Gurley ran for 120 yards on just 16 careers. Gurley is currently third in MVP odds, according to leading sportsbooks. The running back is +400 to win the MVP trophy.

Who is leading the NFL MVP race? None other than Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The quarterback threw for 249 yards and two scores against the Arizona Cardinals in week 10. He continues to thrive in Andy Reid’s offense. Mahomes is -150 to win the MVP. Despite Mahomes being at the top of his game, the Rams have two potent weapons. Quarterback Jared Goff can beat opponents through the air and Gurley can do it on the ground.

Although the Chiefs have won the last two meetings between the teams, the Rams will come out on top of their week 11 showdown.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New Orleans Saints

Who would have thought the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles would be below .500 after week 10? Quarterback Carson Wentz started against the Dallas Cowboys in the Eagles’ last game. He threw for 360 yards, two touchdowns and a pick as the Eagles won their fourth game of the season.

The New Orleans Saints have won nine straight games and blew out the Cincinnati Bengals 51-14 away from home. Brees is having a career year as he continued to push for an improbable MVP award by tossing three scores against the Bengals. Bress is second in MVP odds at +300.

New Orleans should continue its great play at home against the Eagles. Though Wentz and company will give the Saints a competitive game. Brees and the Saints are the better team right now but don’t count the Eagles out. They need to start winning if they are going to make the playoffs.

Houston Texans vs. Washington Redskins

The Houston Texans (6-3 ) travel to the nation’s capital to battle the Washington Redskins (6-3 ). Bill O’Brien’s team leads the AFC South thanks to six straight wins. Houston just edged the Denver Broncos in week 9, 19-17, as Deshaun Watson threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Houston is coming off of a bye week and should be rested for its trip to Washington.

The Redskins had little trouble defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a week ago, 16-3. Despite throwing for just 178 yards, Alex Smith led the Redskins to victory. Neither team’s offense played well in its previous game. Houston had been racking up points and with a week off to prepare and rest, should once again put touchdowns on the board. Washington is just 3-2 at home.
