Here we go guys! First round of the contest is behind us! I am really glad that most of you have no problem with new contest rules and new ABC format. I hope you have a lot of fun with this new stuff! I want just to remind some of you that contenders are able to post up to 3 picks per round now in case someone was unlucky with A and B bet. Just keep in mind that you have to increase stake after each step. Please check rules for details. Remember about reset opportunity. Once per contest you can get new bankroll in case your recovery plan will not be successful. I encourage all members to participate in the contest. You have nothing to lose, it is all about fun in fair competition, but it is also great way to learn selectivity, to train bankroll management skills and it’s a chance to win great prizes like new iWatch! Now lets see who rolled during first round!

Biggest hero without any doubts was Craig(dmears7). Craig is well known Zcoder and he simply hit the jackpot in round 1 with his risky play on Orioles -1.5 with 5 units. Despite I not recommend this risky tactic I have to say that Craig built himself a pretty good starting position. However conclusion from the previous competitions is that winners are among players with steady profits not among heavy shooters. I really wonder how will look next Craig’s steps! Traditionally I would like to personally announced top 10 players after round 1.

1 Craig(dmears7) $11 000 – nothing to add, Craig gained maximal possible profit per single round. Full sweep! Congratulations!

2 Thomes(tvonruden) $10 790 – Thomes is the only one new face among top ten players. At least for me. For now we don’t know about him a lot, but seems he may be dark horse in this competition. Fantastic start buddy!

3 Dundee(dave_loader) $10 735 – few days ago I saw nice picture of his lovely daughter. Cute girl with amazing smile and so much joy in eyes… she was so happy probably because her daddy has just shown to her his contest bankroll ;). Congratulations Dundee!

4 Michal(michal) $10 668 – Michal plays only for fun in this competition and he doesn’t participate in prizes to stay a unbiased judge and to keep this contest fair and clear. I can revive you a secret about his tactic. Michal will look for best anti public selection in this competition.

5 Robert(robivoncin) $10 655 – another very experienced contender and Zcoder. I am glad I can see Robert at the top of the rank in almost every contest! Last contest he finished among best 30 guys and he started fantastic again!

6 Nelzon Munts(nflranders) $10 575 – oh yes! Nelzon is back! Very unlucky finish in previous edition for him, but now he is even more hungry of winning!

7 Brian K.(brianekay) $10 575 – Brian didn’t shine in previous edition, but he is also experienced contender. Now with very good start I am sure he will be extra motivated. If I remember good MLB contest are his favorites!

8 Ken(ken.drowland) $10 475 – Ken finished last contest in the middle of the rank. Now I am sure this experience from previous contest will pay off. Keep pushing Ken!

9 Valdemar(nats79selin) $10 468 – MLB LEGEND! I am sooooo happy Valdemar participates in the contest. It’s like to have Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Felix Hernadez or Alexander Ovechkin in the game. Now matter how good you are you can always learn something from him! Keep it going Valdemar!

10 Larry L.(larryrlarscheid) $10 435 – as far as I can remember there was always Larry L. in the contests! I appreciate that a lot, that means you have always fun with this competition and that means contest are not boring! Congrats and good luck Larry!
