Z-Code’s DFS Picks For NFL Week 6: Players Who Should Be In Your Lineups

QB:

Brian Hoyer
Hoyer was one of the stars of my lineups last week and I think he can be great again this week. He’s not a good quarterback, but with that said he’s still consistently undervalued on DFS sites and he’s playing against a generous Jax defense at home this week. He’s a great way to extend your budget and load up on studs.
Alex Smith
Alex Smith has one of the lowest ceilings of all QBs because of his unwillingness to throw the deep ball. However, he’s usually good for 40 yards on the ground, a couple hundred in the air and a TD or two. That’s a healthy floor and in a matchup against Oakland he has potential for one of his best games of the year. At almost the minimum price, he’s a great value play.

RB:

LeSean McCoy
He’s the focal point of the Bills offense and he’s playing against the 49ers. McCoy is worth his price tag because of his talent and more importantly his workload. He won’t be wanting for opportunity this weekend.
Lamar Miller
He’s coming in with RB1 talent and matchup at a borderline RB2 price. He can easily be a top 5 back this week and at 7900 on fanduel he’s a steal.
Jordan Howard
Despite the fact that he’s been absolutely on fire, Jordan Howard’s stock hasn’t seen too much of a bump. He’s a great play against a weak Jax team.
Giovani Bernard
At his asking price of 5700 he’s an absolute steal considering Jeremy Hill’s questionable health status. Even if Hill plays, Bernard should see the bulk of the workload this week against a New England team that should be winning most of the game. Expect Dalton to lean on Gio heavily in the passing game.
Darren Sproles
Hes a great flier at a super low price. His floor is probably 30 yards on the ground and 30 in the air with 4 receptions. Thats 10 points on draftkings and in a great matchup against Washington he can definitely outperform that.
Theo Riddick
He’s the only show in town when it comes to the Lions running game and he has a decent matchup against LA at home.

WR:

Antonio Brown
If you can find a way to afford him theres no reason not to play him.
Kelvin Benjamin
This is almost entirely dependent on Cam’s status. Monitor that going into game day, but if Cam starts then Benjamin is a must-start against the Saints.
Jeremy Maclin
Pair him with Smith.
Tavon Austin
He’s a budget flier but worth the shot in his matchup this week if you spend big on a guy like Antonio Brown.
Tyler Lockett
Another flier worth a stab against a weak secondary where doug baldwin will probably be shut down by Desmond Trufant. I should note that I’m HUGE on jimmy graham this week and I don’t recommend you starting both.

TE:

Jimmy Graham
He’s a top-tier talent who’s finally come into his own in Seattle. Not to mention he has a great matchup against a former divisional rival who he is very comfortable playing. The Falcons struggle against the TE and Graham shredded them for years in New Orleans. Expect a big afternoon from him on sunday.
Travis Kelce
He’s undervalued this week in a great matchup. Pair him with Smith if you’re not starting Maclin.
Dealing Walker
Great value as the number one target for Mariota in a matchup against a terrible Cleveland defense at home.

DST:

Patriots
Cinci has struggled on offense recently and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats get ahead early. If that happens expect mistakes later on from a cinci team taking risks to try to come back.
This week there are a lot of mediocre defenses that I think can all have similar production but no one really rising to the top. Any of these would be viable plugs: Bills, Titans, Eagles
