WEEK 10: QBs, RBs, WRs

WEEK 10

QB:

A. Rodgers 9200/7500 (on Fanduel I like tom brady more)
Andy Dalton 8100/6500
B. Bortles 7800/5600

Aaron rodgers is a force to be reckoned with and he’s got a great matchup against the terrible Detroit defense at home. I like him on Draftkings and I like Brady on Fanduel. I think theres a much better chance brady finds himself in a shootout against the Giants on the road, so on Fanduel where he is actually cheaper than Rodgers, I say start him. However, on draftkings, rodgers is $1100 cheaper than brady and should perform well.

Andy dalton is a stud at a cheap price. He’s going to pass the ball a lot regardless of game flow. His three-td game last week has become a typical outing this year. I expect solid numbers from Dalton.

Blake Bortles has shown that you don’t have to be a good quarterback to be a good fantasy quarterback. At this price we only need 13-14 points from him. Since he’s already averaging about 18 and he’s playing the most generous fantasy defense for QBs, i’ll be rolling him out in a bunch of lineups. Double down on him and one of the Allens.

RB:

T. Gurley 9200/7300
A. Peterson 8600/7100
D. Williams 7600/6500
D. Murray 7700/6200
J. Forsett 7100/6000
C. Ivory 7000/5900
L. Blount 6900/4900
D. McFadden 7000/4900
CJ. Anderson 5900/3800

Todd Gurley has one of the highest floors of all RBs. He has a decent matchup against chicago at home and will be worth adding as a safe but expensive pick.

Adrian Peterson is a beast and everyone knows it. He has a matchup against the same Oakland Raiders that DeAngelo williams absolutely demolished last week. I think I like him more than Gurley this week as my pricey RB safety net. His ceiling is limitless.

DeAngelo Williams showed the world last week that he is not your everyday backup running back. He took over Leveon Bell’s role without missing a beat. This week he has a beautiful matchup against the Browns who are arguably the worst run-defense in football. At DK price of 6500 he’s a must-start.

Demarco Murray is not the same with the Eagles as he was with the cowboys. However, as the season has progressed, he has finally been able to establish himself nicely. He has a great matchup against Miami at home and for his $6200 I love him.

Justin Forsett has been great this year and coming off a bye to play Jax at home I think he could have one of his best games this year. He’s a value play at $6000.

Chris Ivory has one of the highest ceilings of all RBs in the NFL. When he gets 25 carries he’s more than capable of turning them into 150 yards. Even when he doesn’t get 25 carries though, he’s still capable of scoring multiple TDs and for that reason, his $5900 price is great. He has a favorable matchup against buffalo and Marshall and Decker are still banged up. Look for the Jets to rely on Ivory more than they have been recently.

LaGarrette Blount is now the lead back in a patriots offense that seems unstoppable. With Dion Lewis out for the season, Blount should be the go-to guy without question. Therefore, at $4900 in the game with the highest over/under of the week, he’s a borderline must-start.

Darren McFadden is the unquestioned starter behind the best offensive line in football. At $4900 against a mediocre TB defense, he’s a steal.

CJ anderson is a flyer at best and I don’t really recommend starting him. HOWEVER, if you follow the broncos injury report and for some reason ronnie hillman is out (he’s dealing with hamstring issues and is questionable right now) then anderson becomes a huge value play. His price of 3800 is almost the minimum for RBs and if he becomes the only back in Denver then he’ll be worth a lot more than that. As of now he and hillman are basically splitting the carries 50/50 but in the last two games it’s been anderson, not hillman, with all the success. If he finds himself in a situation where he will get 15+ carries, then he’s worth starting for this cheap price. Otherwise, I’d avoid him.

WR:

O. Beckham 8800/8800
R. Cobb 7700/6700
D. Adams 5800/4200
A. Robinson 7500/6700
M. Evans 7700/6800
E. Decker 6800/5300
M. Crabtree 6400/5800

Odell Beckham Jr. is poised for a huge game against New England at home. The over/under is 57 and all signs point to a shoot out. I still worry about Odell because I don’t entirely trust Eli, but I think right now he’s the most valuable top-tier WR.

Randall Cobb is the number 1 receiver on a potent GB offense playing a mediocre Lions defense at home this week. His price is great, especially if you load up on RBs, but I think I’m going to go with adams this week based on value.

Devante Adams is the clear cut number 2 WR for green bay and thats basically the same as being a number 1 on any other team. His price is 4200 which is nothing. He’s a huge value play as I think he can easily go for 100+ and find the end zone.

Allen Robinson is a top-tier WR with a great matchup and a low price tag. The ravens are a top defense against the run and one of the worst against the pass. Since Yeldon has already been struggling this year, this matchup feels like big numbers for both the Allens. I like robinson more because the price disparity is so small between him and Hurns. If you need to save the 8 or $900 go with Hurns, but if you can afford it play robinson.

If Vincent Jackson is still out then Mike Evans remains the only good WR on the Bucs. Even if he drops half his passes again, his workload should be enough for him to have a good game. Note- if Vjax is back, avoid him.

Eric Decker has consistently outperformed his price while brandon marshall has been banged up and I expect him to do it again this week. He’s a great value play at 5300.

Crabtree may as well be the number 1 receiver for the raiders. Carr loves him and they’ve both been fantastic as of recent. At 5800 he’s a steal and I love him.
