Arrowhead is a tremendously difficult stadium to go into and win. This could be a factor when Romo’s receivers are already running the wrong routes when they’re in friendly confines. Andy Reid knows the Cowboys pretty well, which could also be a factor. I see why Vegas is making the Chiefs a three-point favorite, but I don’t necessarily agree with it.
I don’t know that the Chiefs are very good. I understand the higher expectations, but I don’t believe in Alex Smith and I don’t think the Chiefs have all that many weapons on offense. Charles is an excellent running back, but if the Cowboys can shut him down or even contain him I think they win this game easily by forcing Smith out of his comfort zone.
The Dallas Cowboys offense is too dynamic for the Chiefs. As long as Dallas is remotely healthy, they should be pretty efficient. If you’re on the Chiefs because of how they looked against the Jags, you’re being silly. The Cowboys are the better team, and while I have some hesitations here, I think Dallas has all the value at +3 and +150.
