NFL Picks, Sunday Night Football: New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts
Rematch of Deflategate, so the Colts will have a lot to play for here. The Indianapolis Colts are finding ways to win lately, but the New England Patriots are unlikely to let you simply stumble into “finding a way” to beat them – you know, unless it’s the Super Bowl and they’re playing the New York Giants. Speaking of which – nobody has commented on and participated in our NFL Picks contest for tomorrow night. It’s free to play and it’s $100 dollar prize.
Back to this game – the spread is huge and I don’t see any value in it, but we’re on the money line from back when the line was only 7 points. The New England Patriots are the better team and they’re too well-coached to let a team with doe many holes beat them. The Colts will not be able to slow down this offense, and even in Indianapolis this one could get ugly. Ten points is a lot and I think the public might be vulnerable here in another primetime trap game, but I don’t expect the Patriots to lose straight up.
The computer agrees, giving a very weak chance to cover this large spread, but giving the Patriots better than 4:1 odds to win the game. I think the Colts might keep it close, so I’m sticking with a money line parlay here.
