NBA Featured Basketball Game – Saturday 11/10: Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors
Yesterday, my featured game post was late and we posted a full day’s system picks to the Facebook page to make it up to you guys. The hot streak continued for Z-Code’s team of NBA experts. The filtration system CRUSHED it, bringing it’s two-day total to 13 units and 1300 dollars using a standard bet size of 100. We missed an unbeaten ticket by 1/2 a point on the OKC game – a pick most of our community bought down to 11.
The Philadelphia 76ers are 3-point underdogs on the road against the Toronto Raptors. After dispatching the Celtics, value appears to be on Philadelphia against an extremely mediocre Raptors team.
The Raptors have certainly played better at home this year than on the road. They upset an impressive Minnesota team at home by a convincing margin, but they are off to a slow start early in the year. In addition to their home court edge, they’ll be hosting a fatigued 76ers team. There is definitely some reason for hesitation here – but there’s too much value to stay away.
The Sixers knocked off Boston in their latest game and are off to a decent start – save for two losses to the upstart New York Knicks. Playing good basketball, the well-coached Sixers could hang around in the East until Andrew Bynum comes back. If so, look for them to make some noise again this year.
If the Sixers are who we think they are – a playoff hopeful team playing good basketball – this a great opportunity for a low-confidence upset pick. Z-Code gives them a huge edge to win the game outright, and likes a 5-star underdog pick here. I concur.
