MLB Picks: Washington Nationals at Miami Marlins
This game has a weak signal and some sharp line movement towards the road favorite, but I like it for a system play here. The Washington Nationals are the better team, and coming off a loss with Max Scherzer sitting in the wings, I like an AB doubler progression here.
The Washington Nationals are a strong team with versatility and depth up and down the lineup. What’s more, they have some of the best and most consistent pitching in baseball. With one of the best arms in the game coming in to close this series out, I see a lot of value in this one that opened at even money.
The Miami Marlins are no slouch these days and Koehler is putting together a decent year, but I just don’t see them taking the next two games from a better team in the division.
The computer see this one as a toss up with slight value on the road favorite overall, predicting a 6-5 victory from Washington.
I’ll buy in, too.
