The FA Cup fourth round kicks off this weekend with some of England’s biggest clubs fighting for progression to the next stage of the knockout competition.
League leaders Liverpool will be in action in the competition along with Manchester City and Manchester United also playing.
So, which teams will progress to the FA Cup fifth round?
Shrewsbury Town vs. Liverpool
The glorious thing about the FA Cup is the Premier League leaders can play against teams well below them in the football pyramid. Sunday’s clash at Shrewsbury Town sees Premier League leaders Liverpool travel to play a team that is 59 places down the football pyramid. Can Shrewsbury Town pull off the biggest giant-killing in the competition this season?
No! Liverpool are just far too good and the Blues will struggle to come to grips with the pace, power, and skill of the game. Liverpool are still unbeaten in the Premier League and with the league being prioritized, Jurgen Klopp will rotate the squad. However, Liverpool have so many weapons even if back-up players are deployed. Expect a win from Liverpool away from home.
I don’t agree with the Zcode System predicted scoreline. Liverpool will keep a clean sheet and score over 2.5 goals.

Manchester City vs. Fulham
Manchester City host Fulham on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s team is most likely out of the race for the league title. Therefore, he has his eyes on winning the FA Cup, which Manchester City lifted last season.
Fulham are without the injured trio of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Anthony Knockaert and Aboubakar Kamara. Mitrovic is one of the best strikers in the EFL Championship and his absence will make Fulham far easier to defend against.
Guardiola could start Sergio Aguero who has 16 Premier League goals this season. Aguero has been used off the bench of late but could get the start to ensure Manchester City get off to a quick start. The Cityzens are at home and should progress with a win.
Once again, I don’t agree with the Zcode System score prediction. Manchester City should keep a clean sheet win.

Tranmere Rovers vs. Manchester United
If there is to be an FA Cup fourth round upset on Sunday, it could come at Prenton Park when League One team Tranmere Rovers host Manchester United. The home side, Tranmere, isn’t playing well this season, but neither is Manchester United.
The Red Devils have lost back to back Premier League games and lack identity. The club has lost star striker Marcus Rashford for six weeks due to a stress fracture in his back. Since being injured, Manchester United have failed to score in two straight games.
On paper, Manchester United should have an easy time with Tranmere. However, Rovers will be up for it, and I like Zcode System’s score prediction of 1-1. It should be an exciting game for neutrals to watch.
