Washington Capitals at Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL)

I’m not a big fan of Toronto, they play inconsistent hockey, losing 0-2 to Arizona (?!) but still have a strong offense and they are back home after a long trip that ended with 2 poor losses.

Capitals on the other hand are stuck in the W-L-W-L-W-L pattern, one of the strongest patterns in hockey (KISS style). I don’t know why it works, but for some reason specific teams just can’t get things right to win 2 in a row, after each win they come out flat and lazy.

Captials had a very easy schedule, all last games except a surprising win againt the Sharks were against lowly teams like Kings and Ducks and Capitals played really poorly, going 3-3. I dont see them competing against win-hungry maple leafs that just came home. With some early line support I’m with @Greek  ...

New York Islanders + 1.5 at 1.45

I will take one bet only on NHL

Like Greek says there are a lot of traps set especially in Vegas and Hawks games. The odds make no sense when the hottest top teams get underdog odds.

However Islanders are best in the division winning 5 of 6 and I don’t see them losing by 2. They will either win or stay close losing in overtime / shootout.

Based on the line move and the recent score averages,

this should be an easy win for Penguins despite the fact that Devils won 6 of 7 last meetings.

A 4:2 game here. Lets face it, Penguins are by far a better team and Devils win come over terrible opponents.  ...

Washington should win today despite being back to back and coming of a pathetic loss to Anaheim, a worst team of NHL. Some teams get stuck in this W L W L W L pattern for whatever reason and just cant get out of it. Kings are done for the season and play for nothing.

This is a rematch of yesterdays craziness. Both teams are tired and I don’t expect the goalfest once again here. Should be a tight 1:2 game this time.
