Tennis 2016 preview

With the Davis Cup being over, majority of players put their rackets in the bag and threw them somewhere in the corner, took the earliest flight to Barbados and went off radar for the following 3 weeks. 2015 was a fantastic season for men’s tennis with Novak Djokovic as the main driving force. He had a record of 82-6, 11 titles including Australian Open, Wimbledon and the U.S Open. Overall Djokovic had one of the best seasons of his career putting an exclamation point on it by defeating Roger to win his fourth consecutive trophy at the ATP world tour finals in London.

Looking ahead to 2016, I have to wonder whether the changes in men’s tennis will be big or not. At some point, the current crop of players has to start not playing as well. The question is when. Sure, Federer is no longer the player he once was. But at 34, he ended ...
