The 2017-18 NHL season is roughly four weeks old, and sportsbooks have recalculated the Stanley Cup futures odds. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning are now co-favourites in futures odds.

Bettors will recall that sportsbooks had the Pittsburgh Penguins listed as the Stanley Cup futures favourites at +800. However, Pittsburgh’s 8-5 start has cooled bookies on them. The first NCAA Football Playoff college rankings have been released, and a few surprises have made their way into the top 10. Nine weeks have been played, and just five more weeks remain in the NCAA football season.

Georgia edged out SEC rival Alabama for first place in the playoff rankings. The decision to place the Bulldogs at No. 1 doesn’t mean the team is better than ‘Bama, as both squads are 8-0.
