FADE THE NFL PUBLIC

We went 2-1 ATS in Week 7 which improves our YTD to 15-6. Let’s see if we can keep it going with a few potential plays for Week 8. The main strategy I want to implement is fading the public. Books are always looking to exploit public perception so hopefully we can find a few winners by fading the public in a few heavily public-bet games. Obviously, this is written on Wednesday (10/25) so always keep an eye on the changing lines and percentages.

NHL Predictions: October 27

Colorado Avalanche versus Vegas Golden Knights

The Avalanche come into play winning the only prior meeting between the teams by the score of 4-2 on September 28. They are “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator at +6.89, while the Golden Knights are -10.12 and “average down” status. The Power Ranking Indicator shows the Golden Knights with a +24 to +18 advantage. Vegas is 6-1 through Tuesday’s games, while the Avalanche are 5-4. Look for Vegas to hold home ice and win this one in a close battle.

NFL Predictions: Week 8

Oakland Raiders versus Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills enter the game 3-0 at home and 4-2 overall this season. Oakland comes into play coming off a win and are 3-4 on the season. The Raiders won the meeting between the two teams last December as a home favorite. A 2.5 point home favorite, the Bills are at -3.91 and average on the Team Strength Oscillator, while the Raiders are slightly higher at -3.09. The teams are even in terms of the Power Ranking Indicator. Given the Bills record at home and favorite status, I lean towards the Bills in a  ...

NBA: What did we learn in week 1?

The first week of the NBA season is finished, and some interesting notes have already been made. Of course, the Boston Celtics have lost Gordon Hayward to a broken tibia. Washington is already 3-0 and the only perfect team in the Eastern Conference. The Grizzlies and Spurs, both are 3-0, and both are playing better than expected.

So, what did we learn in week 1?

Chicago continues to fall Chicago has started the season very poorly. The Bulls are 0-2 and the team is giving up 102 ppg. Chicago is being projected to win just 24 games this  ...

CASH CHAMPIONSHIP – NFL KING 2017 – ROUND 2 RECAP

Here we go! Already two contest weeks are behind and like always we have swings in the contest rank at the beginning. Fantastic profit made Hjay(hagop***) who has perfectly detected underdog win and his Steelers delivered big time. It was best result in round 2 so Hjay(hagop***) takes MVP title. Of course the same applies to Robert(robert_tucci) who also made a call on Steelers which means that together with Hjay(hagop***) they squeezed this round to the maximum. Congratulations!

English Premier League Gameweek 9 – Totteham vs. Liverpool; Everton vs. Arsenal

English Premier League gameweek 9 kicks off on Saturday, and 10 big English soccer matches will be played. Two massive matches will take place on Sunday with Everton hosting Arsenal and Liverpool travelling to London to take on Tottenham.

English Premier League Gameweek 9 Tottenham vs. Liverpool

Tottenham just continue to win. Harry Kane’s goals have been the big difference for the club, but Spurs’ defense is one of the league’s strongest. The defense has given up just five goals all season. Tottenham will need a stout defense against Liverpool’s dynamic attack.

The big problem for Liverpool is  ...

NBA Predictions: October 20

Cleveland Cavaliers versus Milwaukee Bucks

The Cavaliers are coming off a 51-win season and a loss in the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors. The Bucks finished sixth in the Eastern Conference last season with 42 wins. Cleveland dominated the match up between the teams last season, winning three of four, all as the favorite. Interestingly enough, the Bucks hold a +7.01 to -7.46 edge on the Team Strength Oscillator, but the Cavaliers are higher ranked in terms of the Power Ranking Indicator. I feel the Cavaliers are the better overall team and see them overtake the Bucks in  ...

Are the San Antonio Spurs set for regression in the NBA?

The San Antonio Spurs have been a constant in the NBA over the last two decades. Since 1998, the Spurs have won five NBA titles, and the team hasn’t missed the playoffs since 1996-97.

In every season since 1997, the team has won 50 or more regular season games – except for 1997-98 as the season was cut short due to a lockout. The team still managed to win 37 of 50 total games.

So, with the Spurs having so much success, why do some believe San Antonio will have an off year in the Association?

NFL Predictions: Week 7

Carolina Panthers versus Chicago Bears

The Panthers are coming off a home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and sit at 4-2 for the season. They are a 3.5 point road favorite versus the 2-4 Chicago Bears. Carolina won the last meeting between the teams in 2014 as the favorite. The Panthers hold a decided +29 to +3 advantage on the Power Ranking Indicator. What’s worse for the Bears is they are -9.4 and “dead” status on the Team Strength Oscillator. Look for the Panthers to get back on track and cover the spread.
