MLB Picks: Arizona Diamondbacks at San Francisco Giants, ABC Progression
We’ve had a very strong season so far, which is why I was hesitant to post any games that didn’t really fit the system. We’ve seen the San Francisco Giants rise from the ashes a bit lately, and the Arizona Diamondbacks have fallen apart, losing four in a row and looking bad doing it.
First, the pitching matchup here is a huge edge for the Giants at home. Bumgarner is easy to trust and comes through in the big game. I know it’s the lowly Diamondbacks, but at home I think he puts on a show tonight.
Second, momentum is strongly in favor of the Giants. I like them here to make a statement in this series, even though there is some limited value in the line.
Lastly, the San Francisco Giants have full Z-Code support, with 3.5 stars of value in the first signal and 63% chance of victory in the second. The computer senses some reason to hold back because of the sharpness of the line, and the Giants lineup can be hard to trust at times. Still, this fits the system as the better team is rolling along and home.
